    Me Myself I

    [/url:34caloou]

    I sit here by myself
And you know I love it
You know I don’t want someone
    To come pay a visit

    I wanna be by myself
I came in this Lounge alone
    Me myself I …

    How does that one go?

And when did this Chill-out Lounge become frozen?

Can’t listen to music at the moment Tor mentor; got the worst cold that I’ve ever had and, just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse my ear sort of popped and all I’ve got now is a hissing sound in it. The last two bands that I went to see, I’ve had to stand by the door so’s I could go out and cough every five minutes…and all i can eat is toast. The good news is that I wanted to lose weight for Christmas and it’s going down quite nicely [be careful what you wish for….]

Just downloaded the new editors album about half an hour ago, on the recommendation of a friend on facebook. The first word that springs to mind is AWESOME…

I was only thinking about that one last night; I’m sure it had really bad reviews when it came out, but I’ve been hearing good things about it recently. Good old Brummie lads they are , too..went to see them a few years ago with Franz Ferdinand, and another band whose name escapes me..was a really good night.

What is the band that sound very similar to Editors but their music is darker and more edgier? Scandinavian….

    I think the deaths
    didn’t help Tor
    real and online
    they both had an impact
    and the gradual
    grinding effect of the rules
    new stricter rules which
    suppressed the chill out.
There has been a gradual tightening
    since the year 2000

    More people
    more abuse
    more rules
    less freedom
    less people.

Franz had a song for it
    Take me Out

Ive always thought The editors were a bit inspired by Joy Division. This album may have come in for criticism because they have went a bit electronic on it and moved away from the guitars. The opening track is absolutely brilliant IMO, it’s just different to anything I’ve heard…I love it. Its possible this album reminds me a bit of new order, but for the new millenium.

The editors are a good band Tor mentor, you should get their discography.

I saw them too, last year at the Oxegen festival last year Moe and I already liked them before and had the first two albums but they didnt disappoint one bit. You’ll have to find out the name of that scandinavian band Moe, wouldnt mind checking them out…

Take Me Out is a good tune,Gamble.

I believe Cowell takes his fair share out.

Interesting article in the film review section of the Observer this weekend about the film ‘Seraphine’ which likens her to modern day television programme celebrities. Tend to forget the effect of fame on ‘ordinary’ people, and the problems they have dealing with it. Even Grace Darling had problems with the press etc after she became a national heroine.
