Put these on yesterday, but the TRF site was unavailable then.

March 17, 2026 at 18:18 #1760333A big game for Brackley. It has been a struggle but Solihull are not in great form either. A win would put them 5 points clear of the resurgent Morecambe. Lose and I would expect Jim Bentley’s team to finish above them.
Not going to Haig Avenue tonight. I don’t particularly want to arrive back in Liverpool late at night on St Patrick’s Day. It was lively enough at midday!
Alfreton are often difficult opponents but I hope Southport get the win. We can’t play as poorly as we did in the second half against Oxford.
March 17, 2026 at 22:03 #1760352Disappointing for Brackley but I suppose it could have been worse after going 1-0 down. They could have done without Gateshead winning as well, as could Morecambe for that matter.
Great win for Southport. It was important to bounce back after the disappointment of Saturday. Based on the commentary, it sounded like we started where we left off in the first half but were much better in the second half.
9 points taken from the 4 winnable looking games after the Trophy quarter final. I think we would have taken that. Up to 15th place and only 2 points away from the magic 50.
I didn’t expect King’s Lynn to beat South Shields. Fylde are now 4 points clear at the top after beating Hereford.
Due to their fixture backlog, Hereford and Alfreton have to play each other this Thursday!
March 19, 2026 at 04:57 #1760411Southport are safe CAS.
Northampton probably need 15 or 16 points from their final fixtures to reach 50+, thus they are doomed. Looking at the matches remaining, I cant see them gaining over 8 points.
Brackley, equally in poo, four away fixtures against York, Forest Green, Scunthorpe and finally an away match at Carlise. These should return nil points, leaving the home games with Braintree, Boston, Aldershot and Tamworth, as the only chance to escape the drop. Ten points from those four, which may just be enough on 47 for the season.
Banbury lost again on Tuesday, and reaching the play off places is starting to look beyond them now.
March 19, 2026 at 07:41 #1760415That is a horrible run of away fixtures!
March 20, 2026 at 18:40 #1760566When two of ones teams are more or less condemned to the drop, its difficult to take.
But Ill carry on feeling a little positive.
Correct Score PAT 0.5

York V Brackley 5-1 @ 16s
Mansfield V Northampton 3-1 @ 12s

Cobbs to win 6.5@18/5
-6.5-10
Ongoing -205..
Looks bad, but Cobbs must break this streak soon..just like that gold cup winner last week.
March 21, 2026 at 17:45 #1760660Wow. I didn’t think anything would top the Fylde and Yeovil games but today has!
I couldn’t attend but it was clearly a great effort. 51 points now.
With safety looking assured, we can throw absolutely everything at next Saturday’s semi final.
It is going to be a great day in the town. The match is going to be shown on a big screen in Victoria Park for anyone who does not have a ticket.
After what the town has been through recently, it is good to see something creating a feel good factor.
March 21, 2026 at 18:22 #1760665Good stuff CAS, I wish my teams were in your shoes.
March 21, 2026 at 18:28 #1760668At least the other results were kind to Brackley.
March 23, 2026 at 14:46 #1760790Semi final now officially a sell out, with Southend having bought up their remaining allocation earlier today.
March 23, 2026 at 17:51 #1760798I see no match for Southport during the week while Southend have a tough home fixture with Woking. They should put out full first team as there just outside the playoffs. All looks good for the Sandgrounders..
Meanwhile on the Cobbs search for a new manager..No news, apparently those up for the job are already employed and the Cobbs directors have accepted that its L2 next season so, no rush. Steve Evans is being touted along with Ryan Lowe.
March 23, 2026 at 17:56 #1760801So two Tuesday fixtures for me to reward those bookie’s share holders.
Brackley V Braintree.
Braintree have scored less goals than Brackley, thats a first.
Brackley to win 4-1 2@22s
Kettering V Banbury.
Banbury’s good run has ended and Kettering are on the move up the table.
Kettering to win 2-0 2@8sCorrect score double 1@206s

March 25, 2026 at 06:53 #1760909A disappointing result for Brackley, especially after Gateshead unexpectedly beat York. Which isn’t a good result for Morecambe either.
Rochdale will be looking to take advantage after York’s defeat but they have a tough match with Scunthorpe tonight.
In NLN, Leamington have finally been put out of their misery with their relegation confirmed after their defeat by King’s Lynn. It is a sign of how poor Southport were earlier in the season that we managed to lose 2-1 to Leamington after being 1-0 up.
Defeats for Alfreton and Hereford do not help their cause. It looks like fixture congestion is catching up with them.
March 25, 2026 at 18:39 #1760955Brackley should have won, the post, the bar..But thats life when relegation is in sight.
Looks like Bristol Rovers are safe, but Taunton are struggling for Nathan. Hope that Cobbs go try to grab Steve Evans from the Gas for next season. He was a regular at Sixfields when out of work, so maybe likes the area.
March 26, 2026 at 08:03 #1761003A bad result for Morecambe last night. 2-1 up on Hartlepool with 15 minutes remaining but lost 3-2. After Gateshead’s win, it leaves them 6 points from safety with only 6 games left – and none of them are going to be easy, to say the least.
It does now look like it will be Brackley and Morecambe in NLN next season. If so, Morecambe would be well advised to stick with Jim Bentley. It won’t be his fault if they do get relegated and at least he has experience of managing in NLN after the best part of two seasons with Southport.
March 27, 2026 at 14:08 #1761095Prices with William Hill:
Southport 19/5
Southend 4/7
Draw 27/10I find that price disparity surprising. Yes, Southend are higher up the non league structure and are understandably favourites. But should Southport really be as big as almost 4/1 to win a one off match at home against another non league team?
Based on our current form and their rather indifferent form, I don’t believe the price disparity should be as large. Especially with home advantage and a large crowd cheering us on.
The 19/5 has had to be taken, with a small amount also thrown at Southport to win both halves at 18/1.
March 27, 2026 at 16:07 #1761101It looks like it wasn’t just me who thought that 19/5 was a crazy price. Into 100/30 now. Southend eased to 4/6.
