Nothing beats a spicy encounter.
When Brackley and Banbury were both in NLN, police said only 250 away fans to both matches. Both clubs lost a fair few quid due to plod, but probably saved me mates windows near the ground..
April 11, 2026 at 18:36 #1763234Commiserations to Brackley. I assume they will be put back into NLN next season.
An unfortunate result for Southport today but I am not to disappointed or surprised. I half expected the season to catch up with us at Curzon Ashton on Monday, instead it was today. At least I stayed at home and watched the racing instead.
The win against Marine in effect guaranteed our safety but King’s Lynn’s defeat today ensures it mathematically.
April 11, 2026 at 19:15 #1763240Cheers Cas, but the hole was already dug when the previous manager left for The Shrews.
Cobbs are done too..I wonder if thats impacting my bets..
Good for Southport to confirm their presence in NLN next season, maybe Ill take a road trip North with the Brackley tribe.April 11, 2026 at 22:59 #1763281Gary Johnson has taken Taunton out of the relegation zone after 2 draws and 3 wins in the last 5 games.
Up the Peacocks…

April 13, 2026 at 18:40 #1763536Hes taken his time to settle in then. I thought Taunton were done for this season.
April 14, 2026 at 18:03 #1763613Thankfully the end of the season is coming.
Tonight Banbury visit Stamford and tomorrow Cobbs away to Luton.

South Shields v Macclesfield ought to be a hard fought encounter. If the home side win by two goals or more, they go top.
Hereford and Alfreton are both in action as well. They could do with winning, otherwise it will look grim for them.
It looks like Jim Bentley is being booted upstairs to something like a Director of Football role at Morecambe next season.
April 15, 2026 at 06:16 #1763641Alfreton could only draw, while Hereford lost 2-1 to Oxford after being 1-0 up.
I think Alfreton are gone. It will be tough for Hereford but at least their remaining three games are all at home: Radcliffe, Marine and Peterborough Sports. If they can win all three games, they might stay up.
Radcliffe certainly look beatable. Towards the end of February they were 4th in the table. Then Southport beat them on 24th February and they haven’t won a match since. Their last 11 games have ended in 2 draws and 9 defeats. The wheels have well and truly fallen off since the manager jumped ship to local rivals (and bigger club) Bury.
South Shields won 4-1 and overtake Fylde at the top. If they win on Saturday and Fylde lose, it will put the North East side 3 points clear with a better goal difference.
Fylde’s next opponents: Southport. We dumped them out of the FA Trophy on their ground, now we have the chance to finish Dogfood Dave’s title hopes as well. What a memorable double that would be!
