I did hear that Rushall have been lobbying to go south for a couple of seasons.

Southern League Premier Central Line-ups announced.

In: Anstey Nomads, Hitchin Town, Leighton Town, Racing Club Warwick (P), Rushall Olympic (T), Leamington, Peterborough Sports (R).

Quorn have been moved to the NPL and appealed the discission.

So the season ended with a loss of 170.5.
Thinking back, Cobbs loosing the last 12 matches and Brackley being relegated after another poor run did for me.

Cobbs finaly decided to appoint a manager, Chris Hogg, its his first solo job , great stuff.

Happy to see Ivan Tony in the England squad, ex cobbs kid :yahoo: :yahoo:

Which player in this years World Cup, started his football education at Brackley Town?

    That question has me stumped.

Later tonight, David Raya will become only the third player to appear in a Champions League final after playing non league football:

It seems a long time since he played for Southport but he has done quite well for himself since!

I suppose he must be Southport’s best known former player now, with the possible exception of John Bishop. Yes, the comedian played 38 games for the Sandgrounders in 1990/91 the season in the old Northern Premier League.

Thats a nice write up for Raya and Southport.

    The Brackley question is..

    Christian Pulisic

    Taken from his Wikki.

While his mother was on a teacher exchange in England through the Fulbright Program, Pulisic lived for a year in Tackley, Oxfordshire.[4] At age seven, he began playing for the youth team of Brackley Town.[4] When his father was general manager of indoor club Detroit Ignition in the mid-2000s, Pulisic lived in Michigan and played for Michigan Rush. While in Michigan, he attended Workman Elementary School.[26]

Im surprised the local news havent picked up on it.

I was stumped on that one… I was going to say its not an England player

Quansah stated at Liverpool but was on loan at Bristol Rovers a few years back and played a full season there before Liverpool were hit with a bad run of injuries and he made his mark keeping Harry Kane out of a game in one of his first games. I’m sure Bristol Rovers deserve a lot of credit for him making the World Cup squad
