I love him! What a horse! Turned in on the staff and showed a turn of foot in the style of a monster.

Done me a big turn at Epsom, was a nice winner at Ascot and now my first big one of Goodwood goes in. I just love him.

That being said.. not sure I’d be touching 9/4 for the 2000 Guineas next year.

He’s taking advantage of his natural 2 year old talent. Won’t win the guineas.

    Wow impressive!

Trash talk Hein? I must’ve missed that.

Whilst I wouldn’t rule him out because he could just be very very good, I have to agree Mike that he’s possible just very precocious. 9/4 is not big enough to be tempting me at all.

Jack.. Hein always seems to think any opinion against his horses is ‘trash talk’ so I’d take no notice. Not a single person on this thread has said anything negative towards Pinatubo.

Impressed by Penisturbo though the question is now whether Godolphin can get him to the Guineas.

You’d probably be able to fill the Newmarket racecourse stables with the scrapheap of horses Appleby, bin Suroor and Al Zarooni failed to get to the Classics in one piece!

What a race – Penisturbo, Visinari and many more!

Then you must read correctly, MOM and Jack!
If the above isn’t trash talk, whatever should be some?
But this gentleman showed once again what his standards are.

    But who cares?

This was a big highlight by a fantastic horse, and I am not sure if this can be topped at whole Goodwood :good:

Trash talk? I think he’s a very good horse and thought he was a leading contender. Think it’s fair to question whether he’ll make it to the 2000 Guineas intact – not questioning the level he’s running at by any means.

Not sure if this is a language barrier thing for you, bol-dog?

Jeez Hein you take things serious eh!

Didn’t even spot that, but it’s quite a good one!

Masheen. Hopefully they leave him off now for the Dewhurst, although i suspect the National Stakes might be in mind like Quorto last season. Speaking of Quorto – Remember him? Hopefully this lad doesn’t go the same way!

I think HB is referring back to post-Chesham comments when some believed Pinatubo to be right out of the top drawer. HB was a believer. Now we’ve seen the Guineas winner. I hear talk about precocity and Godolphin, blah, blah, blah. No horse does what Pinatubo did at Ascot (passed the odds on fav without even getting into a fight) and coming away from that field today as though they were platers, unless he is of the highest class. He took one second less than his elders in the Lennox Stakes.

There’s nothing wrong with his build, in fact he reminds me of Mill Reef.

Superstar. Can’t wait to see him again.

Don’t worry, definitely no language barrier :bye:
But if Jack could laugh about this, at least one person was made happy..

I don’t think it’s necessary to insult the horse and to point out how chanceless he will be at this short price etc
At least I am enjoying his present success :good:
Pinatubo, you are a wonderful horse, and you really made my day

Thank you very much Steeple, you wrote this up very well :good: .
Many people were indeed ignoring his present qualities, and are still ignoring his future ones in their rude comments :negative:
But as always: Each to his own :bye:

I know what trash talk is Hein don’t worry.

I also know when someone is overly sensitive. You come on this thread giving out, when you hadn’t actually said anything on the thread about the race previously to that. I know you have your wee jokes about volcano etc. but seriously lighten up.

Anyway congrats winners, looks a machine + well done to Hein for dragging this thread down a level!
