Lady Vega Allen 20s, a small wager each way
March 13, 2025 at 20:26 #1723640I’ll go Lulamba way.
Still got the Willy ew bet from ages ago but expectations not particularly high.
March 13, 2025 at 20:53 #1723647I don’t think its right that Willie should be allowed to run 3 horses tomorrow in what should be the biggest Juvenile hurdle race of the season when they’ve not even run over hurdles yet. Absolute nonsense and potential to cause utter carnage tomorrow to some of the more fancied runners in the race.
March 13, 2025 at 22:52 #1723668Agree TTM, utterly bonkers. Could I just buy some absolute yoke of a cheap sprinter and run it in the Triumph if I fancied a grade 1 runner at Cheltenham? Or do they have to have achieved a certain rating on the Flat? Do they have to run in a schooling hurdle race?
March 14, 2025 at 07:43 #172369218 runners, 11 trained by Mullins. And they wonder why racing is losing its appeal.
Agree about the 3 that have not run over hurdles. They shouldn’t be allowed to run.
As someone who has East India Dock as his nap of the meeting and a saver on Lulumba, I hope there is going to be no team tactics from the Closutton contingent.
March 14, 2025 at 08:53 #1723702A disgrace that the unraced 3 are allowed to enter.
I also think it’s a disgrace that horses who haven’t run in the season, are allowed into the handicaps.
March 14, 2025 at 09:00 #1723704From what I gather the only requirements for the race is that you enter a 4 year-old horse. Max field is 24 too so they could feasibly have thrown in 6 more horses who haven’t run over hurdles yet. They probably need to drop that max field because it hasn’t been close to 24 for a long time, probably since the Fred Winter was introduced. In fact they should probably just scrap the Fred Winter and have one juvenile race.
March 14, 2025 at 09:22 #1723710I think Lulamba will win impressively.

Call me cynical but why else enter three runners that have never jumped a hurdle in public before?
If they are there to bounce off in front and set up the pace then I just hope they can jump reasonably fluently and not cause a pile up at the first.
March 14, 2025 at 09:51 #1723720I respect East India Dock, who is an incredible jumper, and Hello Neighbour, but Lulamba’s two wins have struck me as a top class horse who will improve significantly for a truly run race. Lulamba for me.
March 14, 2025 at 10:07 #1723725East India Dock in a double with Dinoblue.
Best of luck to all today, across the card
March 14, 2025 at 10:27 #1723736Added East India Dock free bet
March 14, 2025 at 12:43 #1723773Hello Neighbour.
The more I know the less I understand.
March 14, 2025 at 13:12 #1723783Have added Mondo Man at 11s w/o 2 favs.
Lulamba is huge at 3s imo. I’ve taken some more at that.
March 14, 2025 at 13:25 #1723785hahahahahahahahahaha.
March 14, 2025 at 13:26 #1723786Sickened. Might go to the pub instead!
March 14, 2025 at 13:27 #1723787Told you they shouldn’t be allowed to run lol Some performance that on debut.
