Greene is 6-9 down to the Brazilian.
He played well did Greene in the China Open so it would be a boost for Gould if he goes out.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

April 11, 2014 at 22:36 #475307So Martin plays Igor next, should be a good match up but I think Martin will be too good for him. Stats from the matches just played…
Martin: 3 x century breaks + 4 x 50 breaks
Igor: 1 x century break + 3 x 50 breaksSunday 11am is the first session. No odds yet.
April 12, 2014 at 15:13 #475448Gould 1/5. Perhaps there might be a handicap market before the match starts or something.

April 15, 2014 at 21:11 #475772Yes, looks like a new set of faces are coming through.
Best price on Martin Gould is now Evens and on betfair you can get 198/1. interestingly Wenbo is 302/1 on the exchange.
April 15, 2014 at 21:12 #475773Wow ! Just checked again and Martin is 169/1 with Wenbo 309/1.
April 16, 2014 at 10:41 #475792Gould takes the first 2 frames, making a century in the second, that would of been my bet if I could of found some odds over 3.5 tons in the match.

April 16, 2014 at 10:50 #475793A brilliant 137 to go 3-0 up. The man is on fire !!
I managed to snap up all offers over 200/1 at Betfair all £7’s worth
To win the World Championship that is.April 16, 2014 at 11:48 #475804It’s now 3-2 and we are seeing the "darker" side of martin Gould’s game, his shot selection when it counts.
In the 4th frame he was comfortably leading but decided to take on a risky shot when he could have played safe. This then meant Wenbo had a chance to get his confidence and stick in a nice break to take the mid-session break 3-1 down. Up until then Wenbo had spent most of his time away from the table and looked shaky missing 2 realtively straight forward chances. That break gave him a boost, the break came at the right time and then he takes the 5th, game has swung his way now.
Martin just needs to be more ruthless and realise that he cannot win by simply knocking in big breaks.
April 16, 2014 at 15:51 #475830I wonder if Martin reads this forum as that is exactly what he did – get far more ruthless.
Wenbo hit back to make the score 3-3 but then Martin hammered in balls from all over the table to win the next 3 and currently leads 6-3.
Game recommences at 5pm UK time.
April 16, 2014 at 17:15 #475837Mid session break and Martin leads Wenbo 8-5.
Come on Martin just 2 more frames and you’re playing at the Crucible for the big prize !!
