8-6…
8-7…
9-7…
That 70 break in the last frame has hopefully calmed his nerves, just 1 more to go through.
April 16, 2014 at 19:15 #47584410-7 Martin Gould wins and goes through to play at The Crucible. The draw for the World Championships will be made around noon tomorrow and I hope he gets a reasonable draw.
April 17, 2014 at 15:13 #475924In the 1st Round Martin plays Marco Fu currently 7th in the World Snooker Rankings.
If he gets through that round he will play the winner of Shaun Murphy vs Jamie Cope. Should he manage to get through the 2nd Round he would be likely to face Ronnie O’Sullivan in the Quarter-Finals.

April 18, 2014 at 17:16 #476065My bets Nath are
Ding at 9/1
Bingham 40/1
Who your 2
April 18, 2014 at 18:28 #476080Hi Darren I’ve been betting O’Sullivan from 7/2 down, have him in plenty of doubles with Quevega and Faugheen from Cheltenham.
He is my only bet and the only one that slightly worry’s me is Ding Junhui as the danger as he has shown a lot more composure and bottle this season in running up the tournament wins but this is a different ball game in terms of the longer format (think O’Sullivan has won the longer format titles this season?)and if O’Sullivan fires in his A game no-one will touch him imo.
Bingham is very consistent and 40’s is a very fair price, good luck mate.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 18, 2014 at 23:08 #476113I’m on O’Sullivan at 3-1 and he couldn’t have asked for a better draw in the first two rounds to ease into the tournament. Once he gets into the quarters I can’t see anyone getting near him. He should have too much for Ding if they meet over 33 frames in the semis given some of their one sided matches in the past.
I’m also on Bingham at 40-1. The bottom half is wide open but he is capable of putting a run together and would have a chance against any potential opponent.
April 19, 2014 at 12:23 #476208I had to laugh at Bingham jumping the black clean into the pocket, reminded me of how I play.

I’ve started to get really good screw back in distance but at times do jump the ball I’m aiming at. Have yet to rip the cloth though that would be bad.

April 19, 2014 at 18:33 #476255The trick is to keep your head down, if you watch the pros you will see that no matter how hard they hit it, they keep their head perfectly still right through the shot.
April 20, 2014 at 13:20 #476313That jump shot on the black pretty much summed up Bingham’s performance, surprised he lost to Ken but am hoping for a few more first round shocks with Burnett to beat Perry my number one target the winner plays Ronnie and although Ronnie should be able to get past Perry with not too much trouble I’ve seen Perry play well this year beating Selby so would be happy if Burnett can finish the job 6-3 up at present.

April 20, 2014 at 22:08 #476365Murphy relived to get through although would have to up his game considerably if he was to run into O’Sullivan in the quarter. Day beat Maguire in a final frame game aswell.
Not too long now Trendy for the Gould/Fu match.

April 21, 2014 at 21:37 #476486Wow, great effort from White to force a final frame decider with Selby. I’ll take White to win it, Selby’s eyes look tired to me. Ding not through yet either leading 9-8, could be a good night for O’Sullivan without even playing.
Fingers cross…….
