Ronnie O’Sullivan was phenomenal today against Walden. I think he had an easy World Championship in the fact all the big guns got knocked out and he only really faced Trump who hasn’t been able to reproduce his form that got him his reputation and Barry Hawkins in the final who is solid enough but not in the top class bracket. At this moment in time it is only Robertson and Selby form wise that should be the only 2 capable of putting it up to Ronnie but if he plays to today’s standards he is pretty much untouchable.
World Championship – O’Sullivan 7/2 Coral £20-00

January 17, 2014 at 23:14 #465179Have to agree Nathan. Over the longer distances at the Crucible there is just no-one to stop him but I had to take 3-1 with Bet365.
January 18, 2014 at 09:55 #465223bet365 have gone 7/4 on Murphy to beat Selby today. That’s too big a price to ignore, Murphy struggled against Fu and although Selby will be tough he himself has yet to find a lot of fluency to date.
Masters Semi Final – Shaun Murphy 7/4 £5-00 bet365

January 18, 2014 at 15:28 #465237I suppose it was only a matter of time before Selby regained his touch but you have to go with the odds at times. At the moment of writing Selby is 4up and fav to go 5up. In a funny way it will be nice to lose my money early after having a decent bet on England in the Cricket at tasty in-play odds and counting my winnings which would of covered about half a weeks work only for the Aussies to win from nowhere.

January 18, 2014 at 15:35 #465240Murphy doesn’t deserve a frame after missing that red into the middle pocket after the scoreboard break.

January 25, 2014 at 15:38 #465965Watching Peter Ebdon in the Snooker shootout at Blackpool earlier and when the clock shot clock went into 10’s a move it was like an imaginary equivalent of seeing Big Bucks running in a 5 furlong race at Bath. Very awkward looking and it took him three seconds to get to the table leaving only 7 seconds to get his shot off, a fish out of water.

February 1, 2014 at 21:09 #466828Unless a miracle of miracle’s happens it’s extremely likely my 2 favourite players Judd Trump and Ding will be in tomorrow’s final in Germany. I’d have to favour Trump who has been in wonderful touch all week and playing better then he has for an absolute age and if that continues will put him in good stead for the Worlds.

I’d hate to see this Rod Lawler come up against Ebdon one day as he is about as fast as a snail with a broken ankle.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
February 14, 2014 at 10:32 #467974The Welsh Open starts Wednesday and Stan James have given the concession that if Mark Selby lifts the trophy they will return your first outright bet on the outright market up to £50 in cash NOT as a free bet. You cant be fairer then that.
I’ve decided that it could be the time to take O’Sullivan on as with Selby onside it gives 2 bites of the cherry and with the current state of the weather Ronnie will probably want to go home.
Neil Robertson isn’t in the finest of nick but those Championship matches or whatever they call them is best of 5 and a bit of a lottery anyway. The Welsh Open – Neil Robertson 8/1 £10-00 Stan James (money back special)

February 20, 2014 at 22:10 #468604You could knock me over with a feather just seen that Allen won. Glad I greened up when I did but if you had seen the 1st frame your jaw would have hit the floor.

February 21, 2014 at 08:43 #468630Here’s what Allen had to say about it
Allen told worldsnooker.com: "I didn’t really see those first three and a half frames coming. I couldn’t get anything going and could not concentrate.
"It was probably in the back of my mind that I was playing someone on the amateur scene so should win, and I completely let it get to me."
