GD – I’ll try to find the Tajree thread and get it back to top/sticky asap.
Cheers,I think it’s on page 2.
Having no luck with an avatar at the mo,will keep trying.July 2, 2007 at 16:03 #105766Can we get the "Nice Pics" thread removed ?
July 2, 2007 at 16:07 #105768Sorry BSB – missed that one.
July 2, 2007 at 16:11 #105769I’ve made Tajree a sticky GD but I’m going to have a look at the sticky issue of stickies. It might be better to have an ‘admin’ section where the stickies can reside without getting in teh way of teh day to day forum acivity.
July 2, 2007 at 16:28 #105771No worries,i’m fine by whatever you decide.
There’s another thread that needs pulling ‘effective resolving of problem’July 2, 2007 at 17:16 #105777I’ve already mentioned it elsewhere, Corm, but for completeness’s sake do so again here: could I suggest, please, that a "Recently Active" flag is added to the entry for every TRFfer in the Memberlist who has posted within a given period of time (say, the last three months), please?
It strikes me that there are a lot of members from my part of the world with whom potentially to go racing, to arrange socials, etc., but there seems little point PMming long-since inactive members.
I would also echo HJ’s request for the PMs to be reinstated if at all possible, please – there were quite a number of personal and professional missives of importance to me therein.
Ta,
Jeremy

July 2, 2007 at 17:23 #105779We’re hoping to have the ‘old’ pm’s back in your inboxes sometime later this evening – depending on there being no technical hitch (cue KABOOM!)
July 2, 2007 at 17:30 #105780LOL!
Ta, Corm, much appreciated.

July 2, 2007 at 18:42 #105784In light of the above post, maybe you could delete ALL automatic members (with the exception of ted123 as he has posted on racing issues already) and any that wish to rejoin could do so manually.
July 2, 2007 at 20:38 #105796I’ve got my avatar working I think, but it goes with my (in)famous sig which I DON’T seem to be able to work.
July 2, 2007 at 20:44 #105797I take that back, there it is. YAY!
July 2, 2007 at 23:40 #105820The most annoying thing for me is that the screen dimensions don’t auto resize to fit into whichever browser you may be using but I’m sure this is one of the problems being looked at.
It’s a pain to have to use the scroll bar at the bottom of my browser to read posts.
July 2, 2007 at 23:46 #105821I don’t suppose you can be, umm, a little more flexible with the size of the file allowed for your picture? 6kb doesn’t go very far lol!
July 2, 2007 at 23:55 #105823Well, who would have believed after all the trials and tribulations were somewhere back to normal.
I think it should be noted, this is a free forum, (started by someone I personally didn’t know as I joined the forum after his premature death, but many of you did know) so are we going to let a few spammers or disgruntled former members spoil the best racing forum on the internet or are you going to continue with the vision of its founder and Corm and all those of us that post in her.
July 3, 2007 at 11:57 #105859Thanks for that Pompete –
Rest assured I will do whatever is necessary to ensure the continued success of the forum.
