Agreed. I’m struggling to understand how that was ‘stupidest post of the year’.
Perhaps the comment slightly too black and white but he has a point 9lb is a lot of difference and CDT would very much struggle at this moment in time however as you say these are novices so it is possible the the 9lb of improvement needed is possible.Get Me Out Of Here was rated 135 when he won the Betfair, 5lbs lower than Consul De Thaix. He went on to finish a narrow 2nd in the Supreme. Please can people stop talking about MTOY being rated 9lbs higher now? Thanks
I guess the most important thing is that you have great value.
Precisely
Of course my tent or yours was much higher rated before his supreme 2nd but the odds reflected that.
CDT’s not even won the Betfair yet, so a long way to go.
However I do feel he will fall short of winning and I believe charli parcs were he to run would be McManus first string and if Jenkins was fully tuned I think CDT could end up NJH’s 3rd string
Wouldn’t know about which is his 1st/2nd string, but yes, he’ll likely have at least 2 runners.
Zark, you have the ability to analyse races well but some of your posts are offensive and don’t belong on TRF imo.
January 25, 2017 at 17:33 #1283768I personally like the majority of Zarkava’s posts on here as i find his input very insightful and informative. – and the fact he likes Father Ted is another plus! I do agree he can sometimes come across slightly abrasive at times and i find his comment re. stupidest post a bit over the top, but then again this site needs characters for more people to join and he is certainly one of them! (I also put TAPK in this bracket).
January 25, 2017 at 18:23 #1283775Everyones got a chance to voice an opinion, thats what a forums all about. If everyone thought the same, the game would be easy. Lets hope whatever people have supported runs well and maybe win them a few shillings. I use this site as i feel the majority of posters are experienced punters who understand the game and maybe throw a theory about certain races into the pot. Just for the record, Beltor wins the Betfair, Hit the front too soon last time out. Delivered later,he’s well handicapped and will pick up the 86 grand or whatever it is this year – IMO of course.

Good attitude to have

*agree Beltor – see BRD thread
January 25, 2017 at 18:54 #1283781LOL -just checked out your post on the other thread. See,we agree with some stuff and disagree with other points. Hopefully somebody takes money from the bookies or the betfair layers,as the case may be
January 26, 2017 at 22:33 #1283931Took the 400s+ for Mount Mews ahead of his run tomorrow. Back down to 2m. Should be a very easy win. Could go here, the Neptune or just skip Chelters.
January 27, 2017 at 00:09 #1283942Im not sure if I’m reading into this too much but I’m now confident that charli parcs goes for the supreme because firstly price wise tips him for supreme and just been ok Twitter and Henderson liked a tweet from someone asking whether Charli parcs goes supreme.
I would advise betting now before Henderson releases his Stan James blog tomorrow where he will likely address the issue and perhaps mention the supreme as the target nowJanuary 27, 2017 at 00:10 #1283943They may have liked it to bookmark it, although tbh with Defi De Seuil + Joseph’s Aidan cast-offs, probably would be a sensible decision sending him to the Supreme.

Probably beat nothing but he is a promising horse who you would expect to make a decent chaser. Unfortunately, the bumbling fool that is Bob Cooper didn’t bother to ask about any plans. My guess would be that if he goes the Festival route it will probably be Aintree rather than Cheltenham.
January 27, 2017 at 17:09 #1284030Did beat nothing, no question. Cooper…I wish someone would just take him outside and put him out of our misery. Might be saving him for a handicap…Scottish Champion Hurdle? Jefferson can’t have many Festival horses, maybe Trevor will let him run him? Whatever, all just speculation. In any case interesting they had no problem stepping him back to 2m after running over 2m 3f LTO, especially for a son of Presenting.
January 27, 2017 at 17:36 #1284034ANYBODY LIKE BIG MELONS???? Check out the 1.30 at leopardstown on Sunday. Possible new antipost fav for the Supreme
January 29, 2017 at 12:56 #1284477If Charli parcs does not turn up the supreme is a massive puzzle to me.
I’ll be disappointed if moon racer is good enough to win it.
I’m really just waiting for a horse to wow me and I’m praying that today MELON will be the one and make the supreme an easy race!January 29, 2017 at 13:06 #1284480ME too. Sky bet still offer 9/1 NRNB. Seems like a punt to me.
January 29, 2017 at 13:09 #1284481I believe broken soul will be a decent yardstick aswel as he has decent bumper form.
So if he beats him comfortably I’ll be very impressedJanuary 29, 2017 at 13:12 #128448310s taken, Jaymo. Thanks
You backing Melon at 9/1 for the Supreme as we speak? Hurry, you’ve only got 18 minutes!
January 29, 2017 at 13:15 #1284485On ages ago at 20s and also had 10’s NRNB and 9’s NRNB
