Melon wins well in a hardly difficult maiden hurdle. Good start, but form doesn’t tell us too much.
Trainer reputation in the supreme will see this go way shorter than it should.

Yes it will be very short but the way I look at it is:
There hasn’t been many in the supreme that have been very impressive this year IMO
There are a lot of horses entered who will go Neptune and triumph
I believe it’s a weak supreme
I think broken soul could be a useful animal and they were clear of the third

I think it will go straight to the fez. Best price 11/2 now. Good/soft at the festival and Crack Mome makes up the f/c.

On one hand, he has that excellent maiden hurdle run. On the other hand, he was put back in bumpers, didn’t win one, and showed no improvement and actually seemed to regress. Who knows? If I had 10s on Melon, I’d happily lay my stake back at 5s for a free bet.

The price on Senewalk had dissapeared before i could get on. They’re keeping it as a novice for next season – had a breathing op. I’ll be backing it straight after the fez for next years supreme. Crack mome bets are as above

Hi Jas, If you watch Crack Mome hurdle, he’s a real speedster. He fell short at grade 1 level but Ruby got off him and said he hated the ground and would be a different animal on quicker. Charli parcs looks like it has plenty of ability but you can only back it NRNB or on the day

IMO max 1 makes the supreme. Any sec now misses the fez and wolf goes neptune
