Nearly there Gerald! I believe it was the rearranged St Leger won by Michelozzo at Ayr.

I should have worked out it was Ayr and not Haydock.

The Ayr Gold Cup is 10 days after the Portland, and the Vernons Sprint Cup is 11 days before.
