no 3 is incorrect, sorry.

My favourite trivia question:
Where did Lanfranco Dettori ride his first European Classic race?
Nearly there Gerald! I believe it was the rearranged St Leger won by Michelozzo at Ayr.
I was very stubborn to Gerald – he was right, but he wasn’t.
That is correct – Dettori rode in the 1989 St Leger when a waterlogged Doncaster was postponed and transferred to Ayr a week later.

Which of these didn’t or haven’t trained a winner for Sheikh Mohammed?
Lester Piggott, David Nicholson, John Francome, Nigel Tinkler
February 9, 2009 at 05:48 #209109Ajdal for the first one; would guess John Francome for the second.
February 9, 2009 at 05:53 #209111Right and Wrong
John Francome trained a winner for Sheikh Mohammed, recorded in the 1986 form book
Nigel Tinkler hasn’t trained a winer for Sheikh Mohammed, though he did train Sugarfoot who by the way has he sired any winners anyone?
February 9, 2009 at 05:55 #209113That is correct – Dettori rode in the 1989 St Leger when a waterlogged Doncaster was postponed and transferred to Ayr a week later.
Doncaster wasn’t waterlogged though; the track was deemed unsafe to race on after some underground drains collapsed.
