Time yesterday suggests the ground close to firm, Mike. Frankie probably means Logician will not want firm but is fine on good-firm. Times on Voltigeur day suggest the ground there was more good-firm than the official good too. tbh I couldn’t see anything wrong with the way Logician was moving yesterday anyway. I’d personally be more concerned if the horse ran on very soft than very firm.
For sure, Japan is the other middle-distance horse who’ll be top class at 12f MOM, but I’d put Logician at least alongside.
