Fact To File won the Ryanair last year by 9 lengths on decent ground in a time under standard. Don’t know what all the fuss is about, if he runs i think he wins anyway.
March 12, 2026 at 11:40 #1758821He’ll win , the bookies want him beat , out of the 3 Bambino might be the most at risk , not sure she’ll like the ground , I like is the HDB horse , I think he’ll have a good day , huge day for Elliott
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

Out of the 3 Bambino is the strongest in their respective markets and quite right too as she’s my nap of the meeting.
March 12, 2026 at 11:56 #1758832Anybody reckon they knew all along if he gets pulled? Jonbon apparently had a hard race at Ascot, probably misses Cheltenham but then magically appears. Impaire Et Passe I think didnt really have this in mind until the last moment. Cyncic in me suspects hes potentially been working like a dog but they wanted to give him until day of the race. I did want to see him beat for ducking the Gold Cupbut not like this
March 12, 2026 at 12:04 #1758834Exactly that TTM87
Why did Jonbon get the nod if FTF was running
Confidence cant be high in FTF to include himGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
March 12, 2026 at 12:06 #1758836Yes Mike he did so why the noise
and why was Jonbon a late inclusion
FTF not recovered from hard season?Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

It’s a JP plot, price drifts, he puts a few more million on ;o) lol
March 12, 2026 at 12:10 #1758841either that or he’s lumped on Jonbon

March 12, 2026 at 12:14 #1758843Lumping on Jonbon at Cheltenham is a stupid thing to do , JP doesn’t do stupid , Woodoh is the strongest of the 3

March 12, 2026 at 12:15 #1758846Impaire Et Passe 7/1 w/o fav for me.
I think this run will come too close to Ascot for Jonbon and then they’ll have ruined his chances for Aintree also. If they wanted the Ryanair they should have come here straight from the Clarence House.
I’d love him to prove me wrong but can’t see it.I think the Fact To File drift could be Mark Walsh related as much as anything. Got too far back and hit too many fences on Jagwar, Completely ballsed up on Majborough, Fell on Kaid D’Authie when going well, Fell On Inthepocket when coming through with a huge chance.

March 12, 2026 at 12:34 #1758858Agree GM. I think Fact To File will still win – but I would be a lot more confident if Townend or Cobden was on his back.
March 12, 2026 at 12:39 #1758861Walsh is fine , if the horse is good enough to win he’ll win
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 12, 2026 at 12:45 #1758864Got to be Banbridge for me in the hope that it doesn’t rain!
March 12, 2026 at 14:19 #1758928JP interviewed by Chapman just now.
JP still undecided about running FTF.
He was critical of Chelt “not doing enough” re the watering – well that was my interpretation of his comments.
March 12, 2026 at 14:21 #1758930Absolute nonsense if they pull Fact To File out due to the ground. There’s got to be more to it than that.
He won this last year on GS and has also finished 2nd in a Savills on Gd/Y. I haven’t seen many horses getting injured on the ground this year either. Looks safe to me.
March 12, 2026 at 14:22 #1758931A change in the going for 2027 festival – whatever Jp wants
