have I missed something? Is Pandorama out?
February 28, 2010 at 15:12 #279679Pandorama has a muscle pull, befair, and is rated a very doubtful runner by Meade.

Bad news for Imperial Call,i know he was keen on this fellows RSA chances,if Weapons Amnesty wins now,i for one will realise Pandorama would have been breathing down his neck! Ante-Post betting is a mans game!
February 28, 2010 at 15:43 #279681Yeah I thought he would have been thereabouts in the RSA. Weapon’s Amnesty will do for me now!
February 28, 2010 at 17:36 #279705Mikael’s about to school!
February 28, 2010 at 17:45 #279708Mikael jumped ok in the main, but is too hesitant when he doesn’t meet one on a stride. He almost certainly isn’t ready for a championship novice chase at the Festival, on the strength of that gallop.
February 28, 2010 at 17:46 #279709Thanks for that Grasshopper; Pandorama probably would have gone close, but at the moment it is hard to compare Irish and English form
February 28, 2010 at 17:50 #279711Grass the further he went the better he got,he is a very athletic individual who has a very round action, you can tell he is not an Arkle sort as at times he needed to adjust himself at a couple of those fences, not what you want to be doing at speed over 2m.I was happy with that!
February 28, 2010 at 18:17 #279719It was already a big ask to go straight to Cheltenham – it is an even bigger one after that schooling session. Average at best and although it is the owner’s decision can’t help thinking it would be sensible to bypass Cheltenham this year.
February 28, 2010 at 18:19 #279721I’d be fairly surprised if they sent him to Cheltenham after that, Gord.

You know as well as i do that there"s only one Cheltenham,so if Team Mullins are happy with him,he will go for the RSA,he looked fit as a flea today and jumped like a horse who knows how to adjust himself when nescessary!I have backed him for the 2011 Gold Cup at 25/1,whatever happens this year!
February 28, 2010 at 20:28 #279748Looking at the price available (14/1) and the probable price he will trade at if running in the RSA (7/1 ish) he is probably 50:50 to run

Henderson has obviously forgotten all about Remittance Man.

I thought exactly the same thing when i read it! Long run will get further than Punchestowns in time though! Ryanair horse for next year is Punchy!
March 1, 2010 at 17:22 #279887Couldn’t disagree more, Punchestowns is a thourough "stayer" for me, and I still hope (and think) Long Run will run in and win The Arkle.
He’s still ‘precautionarily’ entered i believe?

Punchestowns has more chance of winning the Arkle than Long Run! I thought you knew your horses Peruvian?
March 1, 2010 at 18:42 #279912Long run was brought for the grand-national so id imagine he’s the stayer of the two!
