April 7, 2022 at 22:49 #1591877I need an 8yo NH broodmare like I need a hole in the head.
I haven’t even got the patience to wait a mere week for my local One Stop to get a Cherryade order delivered, so I’ve no chance of tolerating the five years minimum it would take to get the first foal to the track.

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 8, 2022 at 07:17 #1591925A quick Google suggests Planteur is, possibly among other things, a cocktail.
You put a kettle on, usually to make a tea or coffee.
So I will be calling the first foal of this mare I apparently now own, “Dontmixyourdrinks.”
I expect the foal to be born in 2023 and first see a racecourse in the autumn of 2027 as a 4yo, rising five.
If flying up the gallops, Dontmixyourdrinks will have a season in bumpers, starting off in minor ones and progressively going as high as possible, and if a filly going for black type.
Then more of the same as a novice hurdler the following season.
If looking able but less than a world beater, it will be straight into novice hurdles at the perhaps surprising trip of around 3m for the first three outings, showing up well until possibly fading the last mile.
Then a 2m novices handicap hurdle beckons, the beast is backed from 16/1 to 7/4, wins six lengths on the bit and….I get warned off.
