Well done Vtc cracking price
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 29, 2025 at 16:27 #1728651Well done VtC and GM
April 29, 2025 at 16:30 #1728652Fav jumped badly and you had a feeling Townend (who was rather silly in going with the leader) was holding on to nothing from quite a long way out and considering how fast he went early Mundi has done well to stick on for 2nd.
Have a feeling this might not be the only shock result we will see this week.
April 29, 2025 at 16:32 #1728653Thanks guys, he did that well. Played GM too
April 29, 2025 at 16:41 #1728654Mark Walsh and Danny Mullins were the ones that got the pace right there. Salvator Mundi was tanking from the start and Kopeck Des Bordes’s hurdling was cr*p.
April 29, 2025 at 16:50 #1728657Lecky Watson money back if 2nd at 100/30 for me here.
April 29, 2025 at 16:57 #1728658And the hits keep coming
April 29, 2025 at 17:00 #1728659No excuses for Ballyburn today. He doesn’t jump fences well.
Maybe they will go down the Stayers Hurdle route next year but I wouldn’t be in any rush to back him.
April 29, 2025 at 17:00 #1728660Danny Mullins should be stable jockey

Hope the fallers are ok. Patrick nearly fell off early on, think it affected Ile Atlantiques jumping after that as jumped much better when riderless!
April 29, 2025 at 17:03 #1728661And the shocks keep coming.
Lecky never looked comfortable today even though he’d already won over 2m3f at Punchestown earlier this season.
Patrick has rode another absolute stinker. Why oh why is he allowed on these top horses.
April 29, 2025 at 17:08 #1728662“Salvator Mundi win only (try not to feck it up Patrick)”
He didChamp Kiely and Ile Atlantique (try not to fall off again please Patrick)
He went one better and decked the horse as well” Hope the fallers are ok. Patrick nearly fell off early on, think it affected Ile Atlantiques jumping after that as jumped much better when riderless!”
I thought that – he popped the next few lovely once he’d got rid of the millstone on topApril 29, 2025 at 17:20 #1728666“ Hope the fallers are ok. Patrick nearly fell off early on, think it affected Ile Atlantiques jumping after that as jumped much better when riderless!”
I was thinking that, too!April 29, 2025 at 17:21 #1728667Rob, I’ll definitely be with you with Gabrials Getaway on Thursday. Stablemate, Dreaming of Blue a big fancy for me on Saturday, and goes without saying I’ll be covering old Sam Brown too
April 29, 2025 at 17:25 #1728668Well played with Champ Kiely greenasgrass
April 29, 2025 at 17:25 #1728669Ballyburn is not slick enough at his fences, he is too slow and careful and it doesn’t seem right to keep on chasing with him and Willie has just said that they will talk about going back to hurdles with him as he sees a gap in the staying division.
April 29, 2025 at 17:32 #1728671Well played Grass
April 29, 2025 at 17:33 #1728673The winner only ran today after Townend said he needed the race he ran in just 9 days ago – the step up to 3m and being held up also looked like it really suited him as opposed to having to make the running over shorter trips.
Could be an interesting chaser next season even though he will be 9 turning 10, he doesn’t have a lot of miles on the clock – he was actually odds on to beat a certain Marine Nationale in a G1 novice hurdle and was 3rd in the Ballymore behind Impaire Et Passe and Gaelic Warrior back in the day.
