Pleased with Impact Factor. Minella Melody beaten by a better mare who was tuned up to take the money. Hook Up win nicely despite the fact that the 2nd last hurdle was about the only one she jumped well. Epatante is a gorgeous rocketship but Marie’s Rock hurdled badly and I thought she’d actually gone wrong before the last. Floressa a lovely winner. Black Op jumped pretty well but was getting pushed along several fences from the finish and I knew he wasn’t going to go on and do it. Pym mostly jumped well but screwed his back end over a couple when he had no need to. I wonder if he is a worrier and a bit of a wuss when the pressure’s on. Yorkhill looked happy. Also very much enjoyed seeing my old pal Voix du Reve out running a good race.

Can’t desert my boy in the Royal Bond and 2 darts for interest in the Porterhouse.

N’golo bit keen, I wonder if he would be better out in front. Although hurdled a bit better today.

Dounikos had a nice spin before fading and I didn’t realise Death Duty had run into 6th to get my ew buttons back.

Will stick with Feu Follet for the big one at Autueil this afternoon. Matfog looked good last time but I’d prefer one with track experience.
