I’m back… with more enthusiasm than sense and plenty of waffle as usual.
Hoping the break has done for Mr Lupton what it did for Brian the Snail
Miss Yoda ran well last year despite being slowly away the first two runs and also fighting her jockey like a wee demon in the Zetland Stakes. Perhaps a winter’s worth of maturity will give her the wisdom of her namesake.
Love the gorgeous Sangarius, really keen to see him bloom under the careful Stoute cultivation this year 🤞

Miss Yoda did everything wrong but still got me in profit! Anthony van Dyck ran a good race but the winner was just great and everything suited.
Transferred my returned NR stake to tomorrow…Teddy Grimthorpe says he may be rusty but if he is good enough he should win anyway.

Do you think she’ll calm down and improve with racing or get more wound up and fry her brain though? Mind you a stronger pace might help next time as she was nearly running over the top of the horse in front at times.

When she broke slow I said someone on Betfair must be giving 6s up 10s. I thought the even bet was gone. Thats why I was so impressed how Havlin didnt panic and let her back in to the race in her own time.
If Havlin is riding her the next day, he should give the stall handlers a fifty each to load her last.
At home they have to treat her like royalty.

Strongly built chap who only had 3 starts last year. By a miler, looks like a sprinter (looks like a quarter horse in fact) and is a potential for the Kings Stand per stable tour. Some decent sorts at the top of the betting but I thought the 4 places on offer was quite good.
