Thanks for that. Good Luck!
September 11, 2008 at 16:34 #180478What’s the latest on Wendy?
Where is she now?
September 18, 2008 at 13:41 #181488As far as I’m aware she’s still with her breeder.
Groundhog Day worryingly has been dropped to a mark of 35 after Beverley so we really need to see some promise in her next run which will probably be at Great Leighs next Thursday.
She does have a couple of entries prior to that for Redcar next Wednesday.September 21, 2008 at 19:33 #181871Just to answer Bosranic’s query, Wendy went back to her breeders paddock in Garstang up in the North West and had a short rest.
From there she was moved just down the road to a stable near Preston that specialises in retraining racehorses and then finding them suitable homes at the end of their careers.
Hopefully we’ll be able to place her with a private owner or perhaps a riding school, something along those lines.
She’s a lovely big filly with a solid enough temperament and is 100% sound so she should have have a long, useful and happy life in front of her hopefully in a leafy paddock somewhere.
September 22, 2008 at 01:28 #181903Thanks, APK
Nice to know she’s going to have a good life.
September 23, 2008 at 11:01 #182049Groundhog Day declared to run at Great Leighs with Russ Kennemore taking the ride.
September 26, 2008 at 21:42 #182431Have decided to call it a day with her as it would appear that she burst again last night.
September 26, 2008 at 23:32 #182438What a shame. Let’s hope for better luck next time.
October 1, 2008 at 17:21 #182958Just have to be patient,I’m sure we’ll get there eventually and Chamerion has shown plenty of promise in her bumpers.
She won’t run in our colours (but the Toubougg filly will).
It’s all to do with racing partnerships and joint ownerships and the cost to transfer into our name isn’t really justifiable.
But she is into all intense and purposes ours. Here is a few piccies from last Thursday where she did get best turned out.

November 3, 2008 at 04:32 #187670Couple of piccies of Chamerion who hopefully will be running at the end of the month.

November 26, 2008 at 11:23 #192233Any news GD?
November 28, 2008 at 02:37 #192697Nothing to report at this stage BH but hopefully we’ll have some news soon regarding some race entries.
November 28, 2008 at 11:54 #192762OK thanks
November 28, 2008 at 19:47 #192870Just a little bit of news.
The Toubougg filly is going ok and should hopefully be running in the New Year.
Chamerion has been schooling well but the weather has been holding things up a bit so we are looking at her running in the next two to three weeks.
December 11, 2008 at 16:53 #196127Came through her final school well yesterday (which has been constantly delayed due to the weather) so hopefully will start getting some entries now with Uttoxeter next Friday a possible starting point.
December 12, 2008 at 00:46 #196278Fingers crossed!
December 17, 2008 at 00:04 #197474Sedgy on Boxing Day is the planned debut for her.
Lily (stable name for the Toubougg filly) ought to be running around about February time.
