Due to run off a six pound penalty at Wolves tomorrow.
December 13, 2010 at 17:39 #332457Always feared he might get carved up off a low draw and that’s what happened.
Still had a place chance until close home but probably pulled a bit too hard.
Has an entry at Lingers on Saturday, would be surprised if he got a run though.
December 16, 2010 at 11:11 #332874Race divided so he’s sneaked in.
December 18, 2010 at 08:06 #333072Won’t be running as it isn’t worth the risk of travelling especially with doubts over the meet taking place.
Alternate races on the 29th at Wolves and Lingers on New Years Eve.
Lily has entries in a couple of bumpers on Wednesday, but they will be called off.
December 23, 2010 at 13:22 #333674All being well it will be Lingfield for Frank on New Years Eve.

You spoilt The Tatling’s party!
You bad man!
Only kidding. Great to see Frank go in again, and that in the manner of a horse who doesn’t look done with yet improvement-wise, either. Is he likely to honour Friday’s engagement back at Leafy?

January 4, 2011 at 12:42 #334734I think we probably will have to as I can’t envisage the handicapper putting him up less than the 6lbs extra he has to carry under a penalty.
Personally I reckon he’ll get 9lbs.
Could be a rematch with The Tatling as well.Could be a double header as Lily is entered in a 1m 4f maiden at Wolves,as you would expect at this time of year a very modest event on paper.
It will prevent us from running in NH novice hurdles but when an opportunity like that comes along it’s worth a go to see whether she has any aptitude for running on the flat.January 4, 2011 at 14:14 #334748Noted, GD, and a comparably weak NH novice hurdle is indeed something you’re almost certainly not going to find for Lily at this time of year! Not until we’re the wrong side of the Sandown (EBF) and Newbury (mares’) finals of the type, at any rate.

January 5, 2011 at 11:18 #334822Both declared to run with the rematch against The Tatling on.
Estonia has won the second division of both races that Frank has won there so rates the biggest danger.God knows what will happen in Lily’s race,it is a dire race though, that’s for sure.
January 8, 2011 at 01:18 #335063Another decent effort by Frank.
Probably looking at dropping Lily in trip and then a possible run over hurdles.
After that we can take a view on whether she has a future.January 9, 2011 at 00:22 #335153yeh well done frank

January 25, 2011 at 22:31 #337670He’s been a star with his 5 victories in the space of 6 months, just a shame the prize money is so pitiful.
He’ll be running hopefully in the next week or two with a few possible races to run in.Lily goes for another maiden on Thursday at Southwell (1.30).
It’s no better than the last one she ran in.
If she can go the pace and cope with the surface then she could run better than the likely odds would suggest.February 10, 2011 at 12:59 #339722Hurdles beckon now for Lily.
Meanwhile a rise in grade for Frank at Lingers on Saturday.
I think he’ll cope with it ok and go close. - AuthorPosts
