New member here, this thread certainly highlights the trials and tribulations of race horse ownership, particuarlly for someone like me who has never had any involvment with horses.
Best of luck with Chamerion on Boxing Day.
December 18, 2008 at 12:08 #197807Excellent news GD! Let’s hope it works out for her.
December 20, 2008 at 23:14 #19831242 entered at the six day stage,on paper not a bad little race for a mares event.
Wouldn’t be the first time we’ve had a runner in a mares novice at Sedgy as Gloaming debuted over hurdles there many moons ago.
December 23, 2008 at 16:49 #198814Race has been divided,she goes in div 1.
December 27, 2008 at 21:42 #199605Disappointing run,she was a bit novicey and as she does hit a flat spot from which she never recovered.
Ground was probably a bit quicker than ideal. Will probably be upped in trip for her next run which will probably be in about 3-4 weeks time.
December 29, 2008 at 04:10 #200036There are a few 3 miles plus novices upcoming at Towcester,Catterick,Newcastle and Hexham so hopefully she’ll run in one of those.
A couple of piccies:-

Hope she enjoyed the experience and better luck with her next time.
December 30, 2008 at 01:41 #200297Fabulous pics GD. Let’s hope she finds her niche soon.

January 1, 2009 at 20:43 #200855What a beautiful horse and amazing photography as always! Good luck for 2009 with her GD
January 10, 2009 at 22:32 #203042Has an entry at Catterick on Friday but the preferred options are Towcester next Sunday and Hexham the Sunday after.
January 15, 2009 at 16:20 #204057Declared to run at Catterick tomorrow, this is partially so she can then all being well go to either Wetherby or Donny on the 31st where there are a couple of 3m mares races.
January 16, 2009 at 00:47 #204177Again, my fingers are crossed
Let’s hope for a good run.January 16, 2009 at 20:33 #204401Went ok for about a mile and a half and then stopped as if shot.
Hope something comes to light, otherwise we have problems.
January 27, 2009 at 04:40 #206706Connections felt she wasn’t putting in the necessary effort in her races so reluctantly we have called it a day with her.
The Toubougg filly should be running in about a month and we are about to try and register a name for her.
January 27, 2009 at 11:41 #206716What a shame GD. Oh well, here we go again
