New member here, this thread certainly highlights the trials and tribulations of race horse ownership, particuarlly for someone like me who has never had any involvment with horses.

42 entered at the six day stage,on paper not a bad little race for a mares event.
Wouldn’t be the first time we’ve had a runner in a mares novice at Sedgy as Gloaming debuted over hurdles there many moons ago.
Disappointing run,she was a bit novicey and as she does hit a flat spot from which she never recovered.
Ground was probably a bit quicker than ideal.Will probably be upped in trip for her next run which will probably be in about 3-4 weeks time.
There are a few 3 miles plus novices upcoming at Towcester,Catterick,Newcastle and Hexham so hopefully she’ll run in one of those.

Has an entry at Catterick on Friday but the preferred options are Towcester next Sunday and Hexham the Sunday after.
Declared to run at Catterick tomorrow,this is partially so she can then all being well go to either Wetherby or Donny on the 31st where there are a couple of 3m mares races.
Went ok for about a mile and a half and then stopped as if shot.
Hope something comes to light,otherwise we have problems.
Connections felt she wasn’t putting in the necessary effort in her races so reluctantly we have called it a day with her.
The Toubougg filly should be running in about a month and we are about to try and register a name for her.
