Just saw that. Beat a 130 rated horse by 20 Lenghts, a 129 rated horse by 30 Lenghts and a 125 horse by 36 Lenghts. Where did that run come out of? He has been spanked by Penhill and Death Duty earlier in the season; that’s some improvement. I was thinking that Ricci would have Lets Dance in this; probably not now…
February 9, 2017 at 19:21 #1286595Vast inprovement from anything before eh, i was surprised ruby picked him before the race
very very easily,Your right i thought lets dance for this, maybe she would maybe go AB or mares novice now (hopefully not) if he comes here? Hes got to after that win today at that distance youd think
February 9, 2017 at 23:33 #1286635Dont think Lets Dance will go Mares Novice. Airlie Beach has that covered; Lets Dance likes further than 2 mile 1 F
February 10, 2017 at 07:29 #1286639Hopefully
February 10, 2017 at 11:59 #1286651Invitation only not declared for the deloitte.
This may be a stupid question but
he has an official rating of 140 likewise riven light at 137.
I always thought you had to have 3 runs over hurdles for a handicap Mark.If he sidesteps the munster hurdle he’s entered for off 140 and the entry was just given for a mark. (Not saying mullins would do this)
He’d be able to run in the Martin pipe of 140?February 10, 2017 at 12:23 #1286654Mullins has 6 entered in the novice hurdle at leopardstown. On jockey bookings this is their order
Saturnas
Bunk off early
Riven light
Bacardys
Chateaux conti
BravissimoI expected to see châteaux conti being picked by either Townend or Walsh so I’m slightly surprised.
February 10, 2017 at 15:32 #1286661Same, i thought townend would be on conti
February 10, 2017 at 17:28 #1286667I wasn’t that impressed with Livelovelaugh. He beat some horses whose ratings seem questionable and Carrig Cathal would have gone close but for tipping up in the straight.
February 10, 2017 at 18:41 #1286676Bye bye, Invitation Only
February 10, 2017 at 19:39 #1286695Bye bye, Invitation Only
Invitation only is entered in clonmel next Thursday.
In relation to livelovelaugh I’d say its unlikely he will go to the festival, he is going to run again in thurles in a few weeks. If the festival was the plan I’d say he wouldn’t be running again before it. I’d say he has improved from 129 but he beat a crowd of horses that are over rated and who underperformed.
February 12, 2017 at 15:08 #1287091Went through this race a little last night…of the market principles, I think Bacardys looks most interesting. Willing to give Invitation Only another chance, but Bacardys winning over 2 miles, with that consistent solid bumper form, bodes well IMO. The 3rd from his maiden win LTO has won since and the 2nd runs today at Punchestown. I’d expect him to win.
Did I back him today? Did I!?! Did I!?!?!?!
Anyway, none of that will win. That was all rubbish. Very disappointing in particular from Saturnas.
Finian’s Oscar did what was expected at Exeter. Had a chance to dog it at the end but found plenty.

Agree, rubbish

February 12, 2017 at 23:32 #1287163Not overly impressed with Finian’s Oscar. He jumped well enough but I thought he ran a bit flat. I suppose the second might be okay but I doubt it.
Not too impressed that Tizzard is still pithering about regarding the target. He is 4/1 for this and double figures for the Supreme, isn’t that a big enough clue? Can only think he is worried that he might end up taking on Neon Wolf in the Neptune.
February 13, 2017 at 21:22 #1287294I might get my runner! Mount Mews entered in the Rendlesham at Ascot on Saturday.
February 13, 2017 at 23:05 #1287317It’s not important to be impressive in your prep races.. Finian’s oscar will deliver on the day and that’s all that matters… and yes he will be going for the Neptune.
February 19, 2017 at 21:02 #1288122Monalee out to 100’s on BF for this, looks like the AB for him.
