What a race Sam. The jockey Mark Crehan rode it like a 5 furlong sprint. Fast as lightning out of the gate from stall 10 he came quickly across to grab the lead and the rail. It was run so fast the field were spreadeagled some treading water and when Day Trader came to challenge Shaqeeqa just showed her contempt by scooting off even faster..what a filly she is. :yahoo:

Went off 100/30 so nice win bet and also 1st up in the Trixie.

I think Spirituoso got squeezed up on the first few furlongs but made up a lot of ground running on nicely at the finish to be 6th in a group of horses just 3 lengths off the winner.
Think you have an eyecatcher there Sam. :good:

Just watched Shaqeeqa’s win Jac, she looked quite impressive and
looks like one to follow. 100/30 is another very nice winner, well
    done to you again :good:

Yes thank you Graham I was very impressed with Shaqeeqa’s run and she’ll get a mile readily. The young jockey gave her a lovely ride and 5lb off too. :good:

HIGHLAND AVENUE just scooted up with Hollie on board.. came from last to first. He is a very talented horse and hoping he’ll go for one of the classics this year namely the Derby.

Double from the Trixie and a nice win on each… that’s my Super Saturday money accounted for. :yahoo:

    @Darren

Good luck with you horses for tomorrow and the weekend. :good:

Nice double Jac, you’re in great form just before Cheltenham :good: .
Looking forward to tomorrow’s races at Maydan, I’ll have a couple
on there. No sign of a bonus race yet for the competition, but I’ll
keep an eye just in case it’s the usual late late show

D’oh !! It just dawned on me Jac that it’s Saturday it’s
on. I was blankly staring at the Racing Post site, looking at tomorrow’s
racing and thinking “That’s odd !”. Then the penny dropped and I realised
it was me that was odd, double D’oh !!

Lol..It’s been one of those weeks Graham.. I’ll actually miss it not being on tomorrow as Saturday’s such a busy day not at all like our laid back Thursdays in the desert. :rose:

3.25 Southwell Angel Eyes 66/1 4 places Skybet

Ok I’m definitely not putting this one up for anyone to follow, it’s
very risky. I’ve seen and bet her on the last couple of ocassions and
thought she might progress to win a sprint. The problem is she seems
to run a blistering 4 furlongs, and then collapses into a heap in the
last 1/2 furlong. I can’t believe they would send her back out to do
the same again without either training her to try and get the last
furlong, or a change in tactics. I’m going to take a chance she can
get a place but that’s only because I’m an eternal optimist, I can’t
say she’s a good thing for a place, she does have blistering early
pace but whether she can get home this time is the big question

Well I’m assuming they decided to drop her in at the rear for a change,
either that or she completely missed the break. To give her her due she
did make up some ground and I thought she might hang onto 4th with no
more than a couple of hundred yards to go, but the camera focused on the
front 3 and I saw her pass the post in 6th. I’d like to see her over 5f
at Epsom, if ever she was going to get home when blasting from the front
Epsom’s downhill 5f would be the place to do it. I think a watching brief
    is called for

Oh sorry about Angel Eyes today Graham would have loved that one to have come good for you today :rose:

Just two horses tonight at Chelmsford ..
    6.20.. NAHAAR.. 11/8 .. Win
    6.50.. PITCHERS POINT  .. 17/2 .. EW

    Win Double

Love Pitcher’s Point and he’s won well at Chelmsford in the past.
Not much time to say more as dinner to prepare but Nahaar looks a banker. :good:

Best of luck if you have a bet tonight.

Oh dear some Banker Naheer turned out to be but dont take any notice of the distance he was beaten as Moore eased him down. Bet Hollie would’ve brought him home. ;-)

Still hopefull for Pitchers to run a nice race to get me back in the black today. :good:

As you say Jac, you can’t bash the bookies all the time and you’ve given them
a bit of a roasting of late. Pity about Angel Eyes, but the good old golf came
to my rescue today in the 1st round betting of the Arnold Palmer Invitational,
my man Sabastian Munoz ended up T4 at 100/1. That takes care of the Maydan and
    weekend bets :good:

Good stuff Darren, you’ve got all your guys in decent shape
for round 2. Pity you didn’t have Byeong Hun An in the 1st
    round market, he’d have been a nice e/w price. It’s been a
good 1st round for the team, Raymo has Sungjae Im and Fitzpatrick
just 2 shots off the lead. Hopefully final round on Sunday might
throw us up a few winners :good:
