    Morning all
    A couple of interesting runners.
El jefe ran well behind tinnehalla and Homme Public albeit a long way back in third last time out and runs at Catterick at 1230
Up against real Stone and Omar Maretti and I’m anticipating a good effort here.
real Stone/ omar Maretti/ el jefe
    Combination trifecta f)c and
El jefe each way around 14/1 or better.

    Gowran park 2 20
    A big mover
    Sheer Bravado 25/1 each way
    40s to 16 in places
Still available at 25/1 with bet 365
Great form up to 91 on the flat rattling off three wins in the summer ending with a good third. Given an eye-catchingly prominent schooling ride by paul Carberry on debut until the last two when falling quietly into rear behind showbusiness and Coltor.
    K.Donnahugue takes the ride.

Not to be for Sheer Bravado Sam but nice 3rd with El Jefe at a decent price..well done with him and looks like better to come. :good:

Just a few hopefuls for Newcastle tonight….

    5.00 .. COUNTESSA .. 22/1 .. EW
Got left behind when the stalls opened too quickly just as she was being loaded..hope she can turn in a big run and gain place or even win.. big price but trainer very disappointed last time that she didn’t run.

    6.00 .. URSA MINOR .. 4/1 .. WIN
    6.30 .. CUBAN CIGAR ..9/4 .. WIN
    7.00 .. DANIEL’S FLYER .. 16/1 ..EW

Daniel’s Flyer owes me nothing having won a few races for me at Newmarket some years back, just want to see a return of that devastating turn of foot I know he has.

Looking forward to seeing how this mixed bunch get on.. :good: Jac

Combination EW Trebles on all 4

Unlucky with Countessa she ran on and came 3rd but only 7 runners.
Definitely showed ability and into the notebook she goes. :good:

    Unlucky there Tryptych.
Keep at it your race reading is excellent.
I’m looking at the 6pm at newcastle and my take on it is this.
    Assada for mark johnston
He hunts down these races and has few runners at meetings.gone close twice and recently beaten on the line. Big step up in grade
    Win

Thank you Sam :good: .. it’s paid off with Daniels Flyer 16/1 :yahoo: doing me another massive favour and getting me out of trouble today.
    I love that horse.

Thanks Sam wish it was always like that, apart from laying yours of course.

Just looked back to Daniel’s Flyers last win and it was at Newmarket in 2017 on 2000 Guineas Day he was 25/1 and I had £10 EW on him on course.. I just got lucky and caught him on another winning day 4 years later.
Remember we got the placepot up that day too ..
Churchill won the Guineas and Marsha won the Palace House .. that was a magical day, can’t wait to get back there again…I really miss it.

Happy days until then we have to keep winning.
I had a few horses on “watching brief” today among them Geronimo for Donald Mccain in the first.
I’ve never really defined watching brief. I guess I mean they are a big danger and worth a second glance and further consideration.
My watching briefs are doing better than my selections. Geronimo was 2nd @ 66 /1. But El Jefe was 3rd :good:
All good fun. Nathan’s Billy won and won well. :good: :good:

What a brilliant plunge on Daniel’s Flyer Jac, 16/1 is some return.
You’re getting into the habit of hitting these big priced winners,
    top tipping :yahoo:

Cheers Graham ..I think I was very lucky that Daniel’s Flyer decided to do just that . I knew what he was capable of just took the chance and he did me proud today. Good boy.

Not much racing this week but will be hunting around for one or two tomorrow.

Sam keep at it with the ‘watching brief” because they’re the big priced winners of the future ‘Dark Horses’ that you have notebooked and no better feeling than when one of those comes up. :good:

Well done to Nathan with his Billy winner today .. SWIMBO is alive and kicking. :yahoo:

Night night all back tomorrow :bye:

Lol thought so it was Eqtiraan
Wasn’t that a close call Nathan , De Sousa and Crowley.. happy days.

Look at the crowds on Churchill’s 2000 Guineas day. We were up the back stands standing on tiptoe but there was a bit of a hush when he won except for us shouting him home and I’m sure he heard us.

Eqtiraan running on Super Saturday in the 2.10. Good omen for his chances as he’s already won there.

Eqtiraan looks up against it but he does have decent performance in him
I can’t wait to get back to racing. Gutted Cheltenham is behind closed doors but as long as we can keep the infection rates to a minimum I’m sure we can all get back to the course soon enough.
Just hope people are sensible enough, especially in the early weeks after lockdown lifts

Me too Nathan :good: We are so close it would be such a shame to spoil it now…

So I have 3 horses for this evening at short prices that will hopefully win..
    .
    Lingfield 4.25 ..
    SHAQEEQA ..5/2 .. WIN
She ran close 2nd to Merry Secret last time out and although she has a wide draw to overcome her rider takes off 5lb.
    Kempton . 6.20
    KNIGHTS TOWN .. 9/4 .. WIN
Expensive Godolphin purchase with Ryan Moore on board.
    Kempton 6.50
    HIGHLAND AVENUE  .. 8/11
This flying Godolphin grey holds an entry in The Irish Derby but I’m hoping he proves himself tonight and that he will be substituted for the Derby at Epsom.. currently 33/1.
He’s beautifully bred by Dubawi and Lumiere the amazing Mark Johnston filly who won her maiden at Newmarket with an eyecatching all the way success and was immediately snapped up by Godolphin. Sadly she was no match for Minding in that years 1000 Guineas.

Win bet on all three and a Trixie :good:

Best of luck with all your bets today..

    Spiritoso
    Each way
    4.25
    Lingfield
    G.margerson
Sends this one here hoping to emulate his success in this race last year with Alvada
    Under David Probert.
The mo is very similar two first runs at Kempton and lingfield under the same jockey.
Big priced fourth when well backed on penultimate run 40/1- 16/1
before winning here from stall three.
The first runs this time were both at Lingfield.
Last run 3rd big priced and unbacked 50-80/1
The stall is again three the first two rides were under Georgia Dobie. Tom Queally rides now.
No joy there but he couldn’t compete with the already rated front running pair. Sound rationale but not to be!!
