How about the horse? He couldn’t quite stand up after the fall

You’ve been scraping the barrel this week Mike, even by your own desperately low standards

Ah, nightmare, comfortably had him buried there and we can safely say that bob wont be in the same league going forward

Comfortably green on the race in play but very, very unsatisfactory

The horse struggled to get up I think only because had his foot in the reign, Ruby.
    Should be ok.

GDC is OK. Got his legs caught up in the reins.

So sad, he was putting up a fine performance.

Racing is a real leveller sometimes. The same connections benefited from Goshen’s mishap in the Triumph. How ironic that they should have such similar misfortune.

Reminded me of Killultagh Vic the way he went down – that wasn’t at Cheltenham but that horse suffered a bad injury from it and was never the same again. I’d imagine a few will be lumping on antepost for Gold Cups etc for next year. I’d hold fire to see hes actually okay and jumps a fence ok next season first. Such a shame lets hope hes okay.

Fair point TTM, but imo has a bigger chance in the Gold Cup than the Browns Advisory winner.

These things happen; thought he was jumping v big early in the race, but had looked v strong the further the race went on. Would seem to be the outstanding novice of this years batch, but never know the relative merits until they face open company.
He seems to be OK, but so many horses don’t come back to top form from falls/mistakes e.g. Douvan, Imperial Call
