Thoughts on Bob Olinger today?
Thought he didnt look a natural at jumping a fence, lost control of his back end a few times
Obviously he’s very very good but will need to improve that jumping with experience
November 20, 2021 at 14:44 #1568269I have him at 5-1 for this. Assuming he comes here. Happy enough. Was landing on all 4s once or twice probably coz it was a steady pace.
November 20, 2021 at 16:01 #1568306I have got 5-1 as well but to be honest I was not that impressed. He is 2-1 now, which is crazy.

I know you have to make allowances for it being his first race over fences but he made errors at 2 of the 3 fences in the home straight.
I would like to see him jump better next time.
November 20, 2021 at 18:09 #1568318I notice Gaillard Du Mesnil has shortened up for this but i think he might be an RSA / Festival Novice type
November 21, 2021 at 10:16 #1568367Reading between the stable tour lines MarkTT, I got the impression Mullins would split up GDC and GDM with GDC being the 3 miler.
November 21, 2021 at 21:07 #1568451I’m not convinced of that Punchestown race for 3 mile form and GDC has proven a liking for the New Course, which is the Marsh
November 22, 2021 at 07:10 #1568498Too early in his career to assess his preferences for Old Course v New Course after one run there tbf.
November 22, 2021 at 11:26 #1568514I’m not stating a preference, though, Mike.
November 22, 2021 at 13:04 #1568537Ok.
November 22, 2021 at 13:12 #1568540.
December 5, 2021 at 15:15 #1570849Added Appreciate It 13-2, Ferny Hollow 17-2 for the time being.
December 6, 2021 at 13:13 #1571043Bob Olinger has an entry for Cheltenham on Saturday. So has My Drogo in the same race.
December 26, 2021 at 16:00 #1574627Cashed out both Mullins horses now.
December 27, 2021 at 12:01 #1574790My Drogo out for the season.
What price Bob now?
December 27, 2021 at 13:34 #1574811If his jumping improves next time he could go off long odds on
December 30, 2021 at 16:13 #1575530I’ve taken the 16/1 for Haut En Couleurs, though I do think that Bob Olinger is very hard to oppose in this.
December 30, 2021 at 17:35 #1575544There,s a few shorties I can’t see being beaten but I do want to take Bob Olinger on , he doesn’t look a natural jumper at all
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
