Apologies – should’ve added the link to the Mullins news earlier
Not an ante post punter but nearly took 12s for Corbetts Cross yesterday.
The more I know the less I understand.
The KG is being seriously diminished, both by the Ericsoon and by the Cheltenham obsession
For Gaelic Warrior to be scratched Mullins must rate him highly as a 2 miler I would guess which is pleasing as I have a decent price double for the champion chase along with Fact to File for the Gold Cup.

Good point Mike. Although I’d want see bigger than 6’s just now before getting involved at that price. I would have thought they would have already entered him if they were considering him at all for it. Now it would seem like an after thought.
Fast Or Slow wasn’t he originally entered or was it that they don’t make an entry for him when opened up, i know they said they where interested in the race for him few months back

A headline on Racing Post website from an hour ago reads “Martin Brassil will consider supplementing Fastorslow for King George”. So all is not lost yet for us antepost backers :o)
Decided to bet Jungle Boogie just now.
Running out of time for a prep, and I’m betting with the knowledge that he isn’t as forward as some of the others in the yard, but trainer does send them here, so worth a try at the odds, as he’s just a horse I really like……
Edit – Cashed out the 66’s on Jungle Boogie, and left the bets at 50’s and 80’s, just in case (Non Runner)

I know that he’s due to take in The Peterborough, but I’ve taken the gamble that Protektorat will reroute here at 20-1
On 9 Jan 2021 Protektorat ran right handed and lost at 2-1 on having jumped left. Skelton has kept him on left handed courses ever since. They deliberately missed this race in 2022 because ‘going right handed doesn’t suit’ Skelton stated. They may have a go but not one I’d be interested in.
JP didn’t sound very convinced re Fact or File coming here just now on ITV. Pity. Corbetts Cross who he said is intended feels like a really bad fit for this to me.
