So that didn’t go so well did it? A pretty disastrous weekend with just about all my selections running well below form. That happens sometimes but we’ll crack on and try and finish the season strongly. A couple for today:
£50 win Via Serendipity – 11-4 – Yarmouth 4.20
£50 win Montatham – 15-8 – Sandown 3.55
£20 win double"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
September 17, 2020 at 18:29 #1501839Going through a bad run but hoping luck can change tomorrow. This horse of Tim Easterby’s has been very gingerly ridden recently and has plummeted down the weights as a result. The trainer had 5 winners today and, if this horse is ridden properly, he’ll have another tomorrow. Watch his last run at Donny last week…
£100 win Vive La Difference – 8-1 – Ayr 4.55
"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
September 19, 2020 at 14:28 #1502134Let’s get back on the winning track with these two!

£50 win Boss Power – 7-2 – Haydock 4.35
£5 win trebles and £10 win doublesThere might be one or two more to come depending on how much rain they get at Newmarket.

September 26, 2020 at 00:31 #1503447Hi Joni
This season has been the hardest I can remember and not being able to go racing well you can imagine.
Hope it all picks up soon and the winners start to flow again.
Can’t believe it”s The Arc next Sunday..Jac

September 26, 2020 at 09:57 #1503476Jac, it has been a tough season
I think you not being able to go Newmarket is a key factor in that too
as the clues around the paddock and seeing the horses live opposed to on TV is a good advantageGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
September 26, 2020 at 11:23 #1503489Spot on Nathan
It will also reflect in choices for the Classics next season although I”m a great fan of Thunder Moon and interested to see how Lucky Vega fairs today.Joni hope your luck changes soon because it will at some point we just have to keep on backing our hunches.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...September 26, 2020 at 21:53 #1503618I wouldn’t mind but I’m not even getting close. Haven’t even had a good shout at the telly as mine are normally beaten by halfway! One more for the weekend then a little break.
£100 Fabilis – 7-4 – Nottingham 1.00

£50 win Golden Rules – 9-2 – Ascot 4.15
"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
October 2, 2020 at 09:47 #1504483One more chance for a soft-ground specialist with some decent form to his name:
£25ew Herculean – 13-2 – Ascot 3.05
"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
October 2, 2020 at 17:09 #1504514Very disappointed with that ride from Martin Harley. The horse was backed in from the 9-2 that I got to 6-4 fav but he was ridden like he was Frankel. Tough one to take.

October 2, 2020 at 17:23 #1504515I was just going to say the same Joni. He gave the horse so much to do. Absolutely dreadful ride.
I had him in a double with Raeeq who won the 3.05 (both horses also to win).
Old Herculean looks so handsome but ran as though he didnt want to splash his smart white socks.
Great weekend coming up and hope to see you back firing in those winners, it’s been hard work trying to find them.
