Thanks Jac. Best of luck to you too! It’s a great weekend of racing – one of those weekends where you don’t really need to bet to enjoy it. Anyway I HAVE had a couple of bets today with some of my fav horses.

So that didn’t go so well did it? A pretty disastrous weekend with just about all my selections running well below form. That happens sometimes but we’ll crack on and try and finish the season strongly. A couple for today:

    £50 win Via Serendipity – 11-4 – Yarmouth 4.20
    £50 win Montatham – 15-8 – Sandown 3.55
    £20 win double

Going through a bad run but hoping luck can change tomorrow. This horse of Tim Easterby’s has been very gingerly ridden recently and has plummeted down the weights as a result. The trainer had 5 winners today and, if this horse is ridden properly, he’ll have another tomorrow. Watch his last run at Donny last week…

    £100 win Vive La Difference – 8-1 – Ayr 4.55

    £10 win double

So in racing terms I’ve taken a break and been freshened up for the back end! Let’s hope we can finish the season on top.

    £25ew Bizzi Lizzi – 8-1 – Newmarket 1.50
    £50 win Katara – 15-8 – Newmarket 2.25
    £50 win Boss Power – 7-2 – Haydock 4.35
£5 win trebles and £10 win doubles

There might be one or two more to come depending on how much rain they get at Newmarket.

    Hi Joni :bye:
This season has been the hardest I can remember and not being able to go racing well you can imagine.
Hope it all picks up soon and the winners start to flow again.

Jac, it has been a tough season
I think you not being able to go Newmarket is a key factor in that too
as the clues around the paddock and seeing the horses live opposed to on TV is a good advantage

Spot on Nathan :good: It will also reflect in choices for the Classics next season although I”m a great fan of Thunder Moon and interested to see how Lucky Vega fairs today.

Joni hope your luck changes soon because it will at some point we just have to keep on backing our hunches. :rose: Jac

I wouldn’t mind but I’m not even getting close. Haven’t even had a good shout at the telly as mine are normally beaten by halfway! One more for the weekend then a little break.

    £100 Fabilis – 7-4 – Nottingham 1.00
