Really nice win by Franconia today. Frankel has had 4 from 4 today including an 8-1 just now but I’m paranoid about backing him too much nowadays!!! Anyway I’m expecting great things from Bonne Idee tomorrow in France and so have backed her for the French Oaks expecting her price to shorten.

    £50ew Bonne Idee – 16-1 – Prix Diane

Wasn’t she amazing Joni a blistering turn of foot to pull away and nice EW with So Wonderfull(she’ll be winning soon) also well done with Franconia today. Frankel just keeps ’em coming.
This has been my best betting day so far and has given me some funds to splash around Royal Ascot next week.

Keep up the good work. :good: Jac

What a pity Joni that you didn’t go big on all those Frankels today as you used to do,
please go back to the roots :-)
But of course one can never know beforehand when a day like this is gonna happen :good:

Great stuff Jac! And yes HB, if only we had a working crystal ball hey?

The Ballydoyle machine keeps on churning out those classic winners! Another impressive display and I hear both Peaceful and Love could be Ascot bound before the Oaks… not sure that’s a great idea but then who am I to judge the great Aiden O’ Brien?!

Don’t think I’ll have any bets today – save it for Ascot – but I WILL be keeping a close eye on Bonne Idee at Chantilly.

I done the same Joni regarding Bonne Idee
I did take a look late last night at the odds for todays race. Only 2 had it priced up
one was bet365 at 4/5 and another was 4/6.. I decided to leave it and take a look this morning hoping for a bit of evens but she is now best 1/2
I did think to myself I bet that Joni has nicked all the 4/5… :rose:

I’m glad I resisted the urge to take that 4/5 Nath coz I think I’d have had a heart attack watching that race! I know I bang this drum constantly but from the second the stalls opened I know she would struggle to win. It was a truly shocking ride. You don’t hold up Frankel’s off a slow pace because they don’t quicken. All the more suprising when you consider it was the same jockey who rode her from the front last time to such effect. Perhaps they didn’t want to give her a hard race but they almost got her beat. Not cool.

Dear Frankellytes, please read my contributions on the Ribblesdale thread, you really shoudn’t miss this!
I’m really convinced and impressed about your darling’s development as a stallion, as his breeders recently seem to find the right bloodlines :good:
Will you lump on Frankly Darling, Joni?
    I’ve put a 100€@7/4 on her..

Joni, you are right regard the ride on Bonne Idee
I hope it is part of Fabre masterplan in trying to sucker the opposition into thinking she won’t lead then blast out and make all in the Diane….
I too grabbed the 7/4 just now on Frankly Darling aswell as 8’s and 9’s for Born With Pride for the Queens Vase, fingers crossed she runs she’ll be half that price and some on the day

Yes interesting that Haggas sees BWP as a staying filly Nath. Also hoping that Ascot catches some of this rain. Best of luck with that.

A couple of early bets for the Queen Anne. I think Circus Maximus is the (for now at least) the only proper Group 1 horse in the race and I expect him to win. I can’t quite believe that the top rated horse Mustashry is 14-1. Perhaps it’s because Jim Crowley has chosen the other one but I think that’s actually a positive! Anyway, I’ve had a little bit at that price.

    £100 win Circus Maximus – 3-1 – Queen Anne winner (4-1)
    £25ew Mustashry – 14-1 – Queen Anne loser

With you and Hein and all on Frankly Darling today
Agree regarding Mutashry will be EW on him and I do love Terebellum, she’s up against it but love the way she strode out at Newmarket last time so have to be on.
What a great week’s racing ahead. :good:

    Thanks Jac!

Great start to the meeting with the gallant Circus Maximus. Just one more bet for later today. I was impressed with Nazeef last time and she has drifted to a nice price.

    £50ew Nazeef – 4-1 – Duke Of Cambridge winner

She did that so well didn’t she?! Especially considering how much she pulled in the early stages. If she settles at Epsom she won’t get beat.

You guys know I ALWAYS group them together and do accumulators…. except today. :-( Still I’ll take 3 out of 3 winners.
