    Sat 5th Oct
    Ascot 15.35pm
    Cl2 3Y+H’c 7F Soft 18Run
The 3 Year olds fare well in this strong handicap. Qirat shows up well on the first showing.
Volterra is another 3Year old who was an expensive yearling and could be subject to strong support tomorrow. Golden Mind has 2nd run following being gelded and Mirsky has hood for the first time.

The contrast between the first and latest betting and ratings fluctuations will be shown tomorrow.

    Sunday 6th Oct
    Longchamp ARC 3.20pm
    Gr! 12F Soft
Unable to give a latest show so the Ratings are related to the form and odds associated with the first shows. los Angeles is top rated. Although it’s a 12F race not many winners in the past have come from high numbers so our selection creeps in ok drawn 10. If he doesn’t dawdle from the stalls this time he will likely sit mid field amongst these with Ryan Moore being able to negotiate as he does !

    Monday 7th Oct
    Yarmouth 17.10pm
    Cl4 3Y+H’c 8F G/S
NB* First show only available for this race.

Terries Royale looks good re the ratings but the fly in the ointment is that Jockey, Ali Rawlinson has a dreadful record at Yarmouth. On the plus side Terries Royale is comfortable in this Class which is not the case with the rest of the field.

    UPDATE
Going Stick 3.8 on Tue 6:30am
Just possible Heavy going today. Not much movement overnight to influence the ratings.
The Ridler has attracted some money and rank outsider Stone Circle (ok on soft) still figures but Saffie Osborne has a dreadful record of runs to wins lately.

    Wed 9th Oct
    Nottingham 16.17pm
    Cl4 3Yr+H’c 10F Soft (going stick 5.0)
First show for race indicated below. Pressures On hold pole position but the situation is likely to move with tomorrow’s latest show and updated ratings tomorrow morning after the market has formed properly.
Inversion has very limited form with only 3 runs and a change of Trainer. Also goes into handicap company for the first time. The rating is therefore not a true reflection.

Not much movement re the ratings plus a couple have pulled out. Law Supreme at 8/1 could be a possible EW as the runner with both decent ratings & odds.

    Thurs 10th Oct
    Ayr 15.25
    Cl4 6F Good.
This Ayr meeting is usually run on heavy going. However, tomorrow the going looks set for Good going (7.8 going stick) with sunny spells. Would you believe it !
Be Proud is the oldest in the field at 8Yrs & won this last year (Heavy @ 14/1). Quite a few of these at the top end of the handicap have been running in better grades of late. 3 Yr olds do not have a good record in this race from a stats view.

    UPDATED
Mythical Phoenix has maintained the position regarding the ratings.
Rousing Encore has shown an increase in the ratings and it is interesting that this one has a couple of engagements and chosen the Ayr race.

    Friday 11th October
    Newmarket 16.10pm
    Cl2 16F 3YH’c Good/Soft (6.3gs)
Mount Atlas currently top rated at this first showing. (later showing tomorrow) Has been off the track for 11 weeks since good Ascot race where hiked by handicapper for that performance. He has top Trainer & Jockey combination as positives. Trainer Balding won this race last year. It is significant that the higher Officially Rated runners have won this race over the years.

    York14.40pm
    Cl2 3y+H’c 6F Soft
First show here with update to follow tomorrow.
Room Service is likely to attract some support overnight maybe as this 3Year old is suited to the conditions underfoot. (that was not the case on his last outing).
