Thanks Tonge and Nathan :good: :good:
Will update Leaderboard on Monday before Champions Day although I think the comp goes on until Breeders Cup..is that right?

I have a small fun prize for the winner of this that I saw in the Palace House Museum shop at Newmarket racecourse…don’t get too excited it is small but something to play for ;-)

I was lucky enough to place Al Suhail in 2nd position and get 200 Bonus Points as I thought Molatham would win it and I put Military March 5th  but with Pinatubo winning I am now on 8310 points in 241st place…completely out of swaps so all in the lap of the gods and bonus points now.. Hello to everyone.

The competition ends on Tuesday November 5th 2019 which is I think the date of the Melbourne Cup.

I now am on 7470 Points and rank 335 with still 1 swap left. This is due to finding 200 Points
on the winner of the Bonus Race and of course Pinatubo once more delivering 500 Points.

I do not think I will be top of our mini group at the end but apart from not having that many Bonus Races
    have enjoyed the interest generated.

    Thanks John :bye:

Yes the competition includes the Breeders Cup on the 1st and 2nd of Novemeber Jac, and also extends
long enough to take in the Melbourne Cup on the 4th and it closes on the 5th. I reckon that the
Godolphin pair, Cross Counter and Ispolini have decent chances down under. Cross Counter will do
well to win it 2 years on the trot, so I think ispolini might be the one this time, but I’ll manage
to squeeze both into my stable before the race. I was seathing last year as I had Best Solution at
various decent odds, I really fancied him, but Pat Cosgrove managed to completely blow it at the start,
so badly that I didn’t see him with the pack until I realised he was trailing them all. He still only had
one behind him coming to the final turn, and although he ran on to look like he might take a hand, he had
used up too much of his petrol and kept on for 8th.

Well done with Al Suhail Jac, I had him down for 3rd but it was a 2 horse race from well out.
I’m on 8080 points and in position 262. I’ll be having a complete change of stable for Champions
Day, although I had hoped to see more Godolphin horses in the races. I’ll probably look to see what
they have running in France or Germany to make shure I’ve got 10 chances. I’ll have a change again
for the Breeders Cup and Melbourne Cup. Hopefully I can get enough from them to get me up the table
    a bit.

Almost there now, very best of luck all :good:

Thanks John, I had stated typing my bit out before midnight, fell asleep and continued when I
woke up an hour later, which is why I hadn’t seen your post which already answered the question
Jac was asking. I’m glad you enjoyed the competition, I’m definitely more knowledgeable about
the Godolphin horses as a result and I enjoy the group getting together for a bit of banter and
throwing about some ideas. Good luck for the last couple of weeks :good:

Thanks for answering my question John & Graham let’s hope for lots of fireworks and a nice win from our Godolphin horses. :good:
Just waiting for Raymo to update his scores,
Doubt I’ll hold onto that top position for long but do have Ispolini, Space Blues and Benbatl who could
    have another run.
Let’s hope for another Bonus race next weekend.
    Well done everyone.

I have swapped my entire stable and still have one swap to make. Poor selection of runners coming up really, especially with no UK flat racing today, so wish I’d used them earlier in the year, but hey ho

I’ve made a complete sweep out too Tonge, but it was my last swap so that’s me done.
I only have one running today at St Cloud, Magical Touch, but I’d be more than happy
if he squeezed into 3rd in a 6 runner field, he’s not what you’d call top notch but
at least it is a Group3. The rest are all at the Breeders Cup and a couple in the
Melbourne cup. I did have Alms down in my list, in the Juvenile Fillies Turf at the
Breeders Cup, as he’s the only Godolphin horse in that race, but he’s not in their
list which seems a bit stupid. Sod’s Law that he will probably bolt in

Good luck all in the home straight :good:

Good luck with your last swaps everyone..I’ll update the leaderboard on Monday..
A few Godolphin horses due to have run at Doncaster today Visible Charm and Boccaccio had good chances, all in all a complete washout for flat racing today.

In case anyone has Line Of Duty in their stable, and hasn’t got an email, he’s out for
the rest of the competition. That at least gives me 1 swap to keep up my
sleeve when we get nearer to the Breeders Cup, I don’t think there are
any group races left outside of the Breeders Cup or Melbourne Cup before
the competition ends. I see that my extra one I threw in when Newbury was
cancelled, Magical touch, did as I requested and came in 3rd at St Cloud :good:

Sadly Line Of Duty suffered a fatal injury at his yard this morning Graham :-( just 3 years old and due to go to Santa Anita for the Breeders Cup next week.

Beautifully bred by Galileo out of Jacqueline Quest he is a sad loss to the Godolphin team and ironically they secured his full brother at the Tatersalls Sales a few weeks back for 1.1 million, this little chap now has huge hoofprints to follow in but bet they are glad to have secured him  Jac

I hadn’t heard that Jac, that’s absolutely sickening news. I’m glad to hear that his line will go
on with his brother but it is such a sad loss, he was a lovely horse and I’m sure there was a lot
more to come from him. I had a very good Saturday today, but I’d gladly give it all back to have
him with us still. Such a shame.

I know you would Graham just like all of us on here. He was a lovely genuine horse and it has been the worst flat season I have known for losing top class horses. :-( Let’s hope Line Of Duty 2 (yet unnamed)goes on to achieve great things in memory of his brother.

Going to try to update the Leaderboard before Wednesday as off to Newmarket for a short break and taking in the last 2 days of the Final Meeting, thrilled to have the Horris Hill to kick of Saturday, the first time we have had a Group Race on the last day and glad it has been saved.

Still on 8310 and 248th so not too bad considering I haven’t had a runner since the last leaderboard.
Hoping Ispolini get’s the get go in the Melbourne Cup as he is in my stable. The lack of Bonus Races hasn’t helped those lagging behind to have a chance to catch up, maybe they will have one at weekend as lots of Godolphin horses declared to run at Newmarket. :good:

Good luck with your swaps….Look forward to those update…Jac :mail:

    Hello to everyone

Just a quick update to confirm no change in my position from
    last report.

Still have that 1 swap to use and hoping for more bonus races,
but do not think I will see my total change by much.

Best of luck to all of you

    John :bye:
