Been chipping away at a double over the last 3 or 4 weeks since paddypower started doing this quiz thing
I had one excellent go where I got a free £5 bet and the other weeks I have had a £1 free bet
So far have
Siskin 2/1 Irish 2000
King of change 4/1 queen Anne£8 in free bets on at 14/1 to return £112
May 29, 2020 at 21:30 #14890851000 guineas
Millisle 12/1 £5 win
Powered home over 6f like a horse who needed further to win the Cheveley park
Beating two very good fillies in Raffle Prize and Tropbeau
Worth getting on now in case Tropbeau wins the french version on monday
+238.37

French king 100/30 £10 win
Has a group 1 penalty to overcome but he breezed past communique and old Persian on the bridle to win that race
He also won very easily at Doha in February and even conceding the weight I think there is a very real possibility that he could beat what is fairly modest opposition
Ziyad is a good horse but looks to be on the short side to me and whilst way to Paris runs lots of good races he never seems to actually win
+£228.37
May 31, 2020 at 16:12 #1489193Thought I was in business turning for home then, had most of them off the bridle travelling well
Peslier did all he could just wasnt quite good enough
French 2000 guineas
The summit 9/1 £5 win
Beat a few of these last time and just looks overpriced on that performance to me

Group one power 11/4 £10 win
Have backed this horse in some form or another on both his runs and hes not let me down yet. Did that mainly because I couldn’t see them wasting a name like group one power on a horse they didnt think would be very useful.
The gosden horse also looks interesting but going to stay loyal to the balding horse, who having one on debut should be ready to go today

June 3, 2020 at 12:56 #1489475Pulled hard in the first few furlongs and then not surprisingly found very little in the final couple of furlongs
June 4, 2020 at 13:06 #1489593Couple for sunday
Brigadier gerard stakes
Sangarius 4/1 £10 win NRMB
Declared and jocked up both at newmarket tomorrow and for this on sunday. For me he took a massive step forward when upped to 10f and this should be where he goes. With NRMB am happy to take this price.
Pinnacle stakes
Fanny logan £15 5/2 NRMB
Was a rapid improver last season and ran a belter from a poor draw in the breeders cup fillies and mares.
Has a 3lb penalty but still think she will take a lot of beating
+£188.37
June 4, 2020 at 13:54 #1489599Forgot about the hills bet boost
So sangarius is actually 4.31/1
June 4, 2020 at 17:14 #1489611Abernant stakes
Emaraaty ana 10/1 £5 win
Ran in both the english and irish guineas last year but was a blatant non stayer
Was then dropped back to 6f but flopped which I am hoping was due to the soft ground as he bounced back with a good win next time out in a conditions race
Still unexposed and a potential improver just think 10/1 looks too big, shame there aren’t 8 runners as I’d prefer to go each way but think he looks value
+£183.37
June 4, 2020 at 21:59 #1489630Paddypower are giving all customers a free bet on the abernant stakes
So had £5 free bet on emaraaty ana at 13/2
June 5, 2020 at 01:47 #1489652Dahlia fillies stakes
Magic lily £15 win 5/2
Ran a belter behind barney Roy and had 2 wins in her 3 races in meydan this season
And her run in the fillies mile in 2017 suggests she has a lot of ability as she finished third with Laurens, September and magical 1st,2nd and 4th
She should be fav imo
+£168.37
June 5, 2020 at 02:05 #1489653Coronation cup
Defoe £10 @5.90 on betfair exchange
A horse I have always had a soft spot for and has drifted out to a very fair price imo
I’d be of the opinion that ghaiyyath has plenty to prove still and is plenty short enough
Stradivarius is one of my favourite horses in training but 1m4f on good ground wont see him to best effect and this is surely just a warm up for his attempt at a third gold cup
Dont really rate last years derby form so cant have AVD or broome
Fingers crossed Defoe runs well though I wouldn’t be too dissapointed if ghaiyyath proves himself to be the monster Charlie appleby has long thought he is
+£158.37
June 5, 2020 at 09:05 #1489665Thanks for pointing out the PaddyP free bet on the Abernant Stakes, I hadn’t noticed. Had my fiver on Brando.
Will have a look at Magic Lily for tomorrow- I love Barney Roy so I’m really interested on any horse who has form with him.
June 5, 2020 at 19:45 #14897662000 guineas
Wichita without pinatubo 6/1 £10 win
+£148.37
June 6, 2020 at 01:50 #1489798Sagaro stakes
Mildenberger insure bet 4 places £10 win 100/30
Works out slightly better to back him insure bet rather than £5 e/w
June 6, 2020 at 10:07 #1489843Best of luck with Magic Lily today FF
that 2nd to Barney Roy very impressive and prefer her form to that of Princess Haya’s (now Godolphin owned) Terrebellum..
