Value Is EverythingLot went against Telecaster. Sweated up a bit more than you’d like beforehand. Drawn where he was, Oisin rightly played the percentages to get a good early position (like York)… But because of that was too free. Also ending up closer to what looked an overly strong pace. imo Not Oisin’s fault – just one of those things – and did the right thing in easing off once not in the money. Will do better, possibly at 10f.

Am obviously glad Anthony Van Dyk won, but experience told today. Don’t expect him to be the best of these. In this order – Japan, Sir Dragonet and Madhmoon will probably be rated higher by season’s end.

3 furlongs out he got stuck in behind telecaster, line of duty and circus maximus who were going backwards and gave up several lengths to broome, madhmoon, Japan and sir dragonet
