Yeeeeeeeeeeeeee-haaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Value Is EverythingJune 1, 2019 at 16:45 #1444076WOW he was brilliant.
Well done Mike, Tonge and all who backed him. What a lovely looking horse AVD is.
Great run from Madhmoon 2nd for Kevin Prendregast. What on earth was going on with Telecaster?
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...June 1, 2019 at 16:48 #1444078Oh and of course…Well done Ginger
Oisin has just said Telecaster ran a bit flat…expensive day out for his owners. £85,000 out of pocket.

I was so busy watching the horses on the outside i didn’t see him coming until at the end and I was like wow.
June 1, 2019 at 16:52 #1444081Great finish! And yes what a gorgeous horse. Well done Madhmoon too, trainer very sporting in post race interview.
June 1, 2019 at 16:57 #1444082I think that will be a very nice return for Ginger Frenchy Tonge and Mike who were on
from early on. Well done ladies and gents
Raymo, I’m a bit sick for you mate, you just missed your Oaks/Derby double by such a
small margin. Madhmoon ran a cracker of a race for you, I think Hefferman taking the
gap and getting to the rail was the deciding factor. That must have hurt
June 1, 2019 at 17:01 #1444083Went well for me AVD winning and Japan flying home
I’m on him 25/1 for the leger, bet hes single figures now
Well done any winners
June 1, 2019 at 17:04 #1444086Gutted

Well done AVD backers Mike Tonge and Ginge
June 1, 2019 at 17:04 #1444087Nice return on the race, BigG; but with three losing races today I needed it. Phew!

June 1, 2019 at 17:10 #1444104What an exciting finish, he was so game, he really wanted to win!!
June 1, 2019 at 17:12 #1444114Lot went against Telecaster. Sweated up a bit more than you’d like beforehand. Drawn where he was, Oisin rightly played the percentages to get a good early position (like York)… But because of that was too free. Also ending up closer to what looked an overly strong pace. imo Not Oisin’s fault – just one of those things – and did the right thing in easing off once not in the money. Will do better, possibly at 10f.
Value Is EverythingJune 1, 2019 at 17:16 #1444117At least you got one to save you Ginger, if Aquarium doesn’t win the 5.15 or Watchable the 5.50
I’m up a certain creek without a paddle
June 1, 2019 at 17:19 #1444118Am obviously glad Anthony Van Dyk won, but experience told today. Don’t expect him to be the best of these. In this order – Japan, Sir Dragonet and Madhmoon will probably be rated higher by season’s end.
Value Is EverythingJune 1, 2019 at 17:43 #1444124Rewatched the race and Anthony van dyck did so well to win
3 furlongs out he got stuck in behind telecaster, line of duty and circus maximus who were going backwards and gave up several lengths to broome, madhmoon, Japan and sir dragonet
Cracking ride from seamie given the bad luck he suffered at that crucial point
June 1, 2019 at 19:18 #1444145Finally found a paddle with Watchable
June 1, 2019 at 19:22 #1444146Glad you won the Getting Out Stakes, BigG.
