Evening BigG
Finau going well…..and Doris hits the top of leaderboard for Darren
CT new middlename……Downthe….

Prefer this to the regular birdie fest seen on the tour.
January 28, 2018 at 20:34 #1339632It is getting fidgetty !! Day looks the steadiest at the mo!!
January 28, 2018 at 21:13 #1339639Lol, Doris

It looked like Day was in the driver’s seat, but Noren is refusing to go away
and has nosed ahead again. Finau looks to be going backwards, he needs to get
his act together quickly or he’s dead in the water. It’s nip and tuck at the
top, I wont be having another bet so I’ll just sit back and enjoy the back nine.January 29, 2018 at 01:02 #1339676If you’re still watching this Darren, I’d recommend taking deep breaths, a couple
of valium, and a very large malt. I’m cacking it on your behalf, I thought Day looked
to have it on the 2nd play off hole, but Noren is still in it. On to the 3rd play off
hole now, good luck mate
January 29, 2018 at 01:39 #1339679Two classy players…..best of luck tomorrow Darren.
January 29, 2018 at 01:45 #1339680I thought he had lost it going into that bunker Darren, but what a 3rd shot under
that kind of pressure from Day. You’ll have to sleep on it now, but it adds a bit
of spice to a usually boring Monday sports wise. Good luck tomorrow
It was nice to see your comments on here Flyers nap, you can throw your hat into
the ring here any time you like
January 29, 2018 at 11:39 #1339698BigG no idea how still alive mate a 5 hole playoff start again at 4pm.If Day not win i say the golfing gods against me way this season has started.
Nice to see you here flyers as well.
January 29, 2018 at 11:46 #1339700Tennis bet this week only 1
JELENA OSTAPENKO 8/1 To win St Petersburg open
Has not had best of starts to new season went out early in Australian open but that could help her for this week when you think Wozniacki is top seed here.Jelena love return here hard courts really suit her play and though Garcia and Kvitova in her half she can beat both win here.
January 29, 2018 at 15:42 #1339743Appreciated Gents…..As there is no time limit this morning in San Diego, seems a shame it will be decided over 1 hole, would have thought a 3 hole play off fairer to both players, neither deserve to lose at the toss of a coin.
Player update from spies at course

ALEX……Rumours that he had to leave the european tour due to the damage from his divots, have been denied.
Tucked into several bowls Alpen this morning, also seen browsing through the local Ikea catalogue.
DORIS…..Up with the Emus, facial and leg wax have gone very well, rumours that he has been seen hitting three quarter wedges on the range, laughed off by caddie.
Following final session on Bullworker, last seen with several members of entourage trying to get his 44 inch chest into a 40,shoulder pads insitu, ready to go.GL D
January 29, 2018 at 17:26 #1339769I was out all day Darren, just back in to happily hear your man just boosted
your bank balance
Good to see you getting the 1st winner of the year,
Raymo and I (and hopefully Flyers Nap) will need to pull up our britches and
get some ourselves.Lol Flyers, you spies update was invaluable
January 29, 2018 at 19:46 #1339814Aye….braces being attached as we speak.
All over swiftly….Noren went for green 2nd shot,3 wood 252 yds, landed on green, rolled back in the drink,Doris made fine birdie from lay up area, hit wedge to 18 inches.
There will be a few to take out the tournament, never really been a Noren fan,he did play superbly under pressure, big decision now whether he continues to play both tours, joined the high table on that performance.
Can,t stand the easy courses, great track this one, just need a few white posts, which most of my local courses have, for our american colleagues they are called Out Of Bounds,I,m told they make one think twice off the tee, just a thought.
Onwards ……WP Darren
January 29, 2018 at 23:17 #1339838TOP STUFF DARREN

It looked hard work but he got the job done eventually

I am happy with my each ways at both courses

But it looks like me and G have some catching up to do
January 30, 2018 at 12:11 #1339882Thank you guys for nice words and happy Day won and hope Day can go on from this as on him for money list at 22/1 and also US open at 18/1
January 30, 2018 at 12:22 #1339885Bets for this week start at Maybank championship
BERND WEISBERGER 20/1
He loves this part of the world in Asia won in China before to and form in this event is was 2nd in 2015 and 3rd here last year at same course playing this week.In 2nd round last year he got 9 birdies in a row that was amazing.Poor weekend meant not win but for me he be man to beat here.
ALEXANDER BJORK 66/1
For me he is a improving player on tour and another good weekend be for him though make debut here i expect him to take to course and he did well in Dubai last week. And shown form in Asia in the past when he could of won in Hong Kong.
SCOTT VINCENT 80/1
A big hitter he is and not have a European tour card yet so it means when the tour comes to Asia i think he take these events serious and he was up there with Justin Rose in Indionesia masters before Rose romped home. But he is good enough to win here not one to forget
MIGUEL TABAUENA 80/1
Was 2nd here 2 years but that on a different course to venue play at this week but he has been hitting the ball very well in recent months has decent form in events in Asia one think go well.
January 30, 2018 at 12:38 #1339889Phoniex open bets
RICKIE FOWLER 14/1
While Matsuyama be going for hat trick of wins here my headline bet is man who lost to him in that 1st playoff defeat.Fowler was heartbroken to lose to Matsuyama am sure BigG still remember it felt he have a heart attack. Then was happy Mats won was 28/1.Easy to forgive Rickie a MC at farmers last week he start well before wheels off back to venue he adores can make up for that defeat 2 years ago.
BYEOUNG HUN AN 50/1
Big fan of this player he took like a duck to water here last year before a lack of stateside experiance cost him the win on sunday. He enjoys desert style courses as shown by form in gulf events on european tour.Got off to bad start in Dubai but rebound with 3 sub 60s rounds and be better for what happen here last year
DANIEL BERGER 40/1
Tis a event one day i think he win and maybe this week.Last year here was playing with new clubs so fact he got close here on sunday was very good by him.7th last year and 10th in 2015 suggest to me he getting to grips round here think can contend on sunday
HARRIS ENGLISH 66/1
Was 3rd here in 2016 and is starting at last to find form again he had a good weekend last week at Farmers and for me could have another good week with his recent form to go by
JULLIAN SURI 125/1
In the past this event been where young players show up well.Rahm 4th here as a amatuer and Koepka won here as well when not have a lot of PGA starts under his belt.Suri is like Brooks in that a big hitter but who putts well to.Winner in Denmark but did well in DP Tour championship to and this young player one to keep eye on this week.
Good luck Raymo,BigG and flyers if you having any bets this week
January 30, 2018 at 18:19 #1339931Just putting the sofas back together, following last weeks poor efforts.
Ben An and English were both onside last week,An is potentially top 15, he has shown a couple of times he needs to learn how to close out on pga tour, fine player.
Not looked at european yet, waiting for a couple to be matched on pga tour, and some thoughts tomorrow on a player who is flying way under the radar on pga tour, the men in white coats may be required, stick them up tomorrow evening, all being well.Any thoughts on the 16th hole ? quite like it as a one off.
January 31, 2018 at 01:16 #1339970Maybank
Soomin Lee 370
Andrew Dodt 280
Tabuena 130
S Kapur 170
SSP Chowrasia 340Small outlay here, plenty guesswork, all have played well in this part of the world, the bottom 2 have won on the asian tour within the last 12 months.
Accuracy rather than length looking at scorecard, huge time difference, looks like they will be underway midnight tomorrow our time.Weather looks iffy, rain and lightening possible, temp mid 30,s,humidity can be a big factor, hence gone for those more used to it.
Take out stenson, not that strong a field,he deserves to be favourite, anything can happen around these tracks. - AuthorPosts
