Big Bucks £5 @ 42

March 19, 2010 at 16:35 #283965Gone for the bleeding obvious
Ryanair
Imperial Commander £10 @ 9
Shouldn’t he be half that price?
Gerald, unfortunately Nigel Twiston-Davies would rather run him in the Gold Cup! He still thinks he"s a Gold Cup horse! Jurys out on that one!
The jury has voted 10-1 that Imperial is a Gold cup horse Gerald,he was staying on all the way to the line yesterday! But will he get the extra 1/4m at his favourite course in march?Yes M"lud he will!Good ground will help!
The King shows his credentials, and gets the big one right!

Imperial Commander 20/1 1ptHad a theory last spring that Big Bucks would switch back chasing leaving the way clear for Karabak to win stayers. Well wide of the mark.
His Shabbiness showing about a 82 point profit.

edit belay that! Make it 106. I overlooked Menorah.

Plus another 13 for getting stakes back on the winners. I’ve become too betfaired.
March 22, 2010 at 22:11 #284973Excellent stuff from Shabby – my ante-post book showed a third (Long Run) and zilch, zero, nowt for the rest.
March 24, 2010 at 15:57 #285318Just like to mention that The Ante-Post King can be considered 100% bona-fide, when it comes to side-bets. A gentleman and a scholar.
Well, a gentleman at any rate.

A polite way of calling me a loser, more like!
March 25, 2010 at 19:10 #285564I bet seven horses ante post at Cheltenham and NOT one of them won!! My only joy was James De Vassy placed and that Irish horse beginning with A in the triumph that finished third!! I must admit I had LOADS on Super Kenny for the triumph cos I believe it is Hendo’s best four year old and I think the future will show this!!
Backed Forpady in the QM cos I had lumps on it last year in the Arkle but hey second aint bad, well it was good considering some of the animals I backed ante post!!April 15, 2010 at 03:23 #290352Wow! I’ve never heard of this before and I think they’re awesome!
