No we just know he’s the likeliest winner , sometimes punting is common sense
February 5, 2026 at 16:15 #1753578And most of the time it isn’t. Otherwise, there’d be no bookies and we’d all be millionaires.
But please explain how a horse with no Grade One form over two miles suddenly beating a load of horses with Grade One form over two miles is “common sense”…
February 5, 2026 at 18:25 #1753592Because he a unbeaten previous Festival winner , he’s likely still improving and if Better days ahead again makes the pace she’ll set it up perfectly for him , who’s your winner ?
February 5, 2026 at 18:28 #1753594Your definition of “unbeaten” must be different to mine.
February 5, 2026 at 18:30 #1753595He unbeaten when he’s stood up , Glad give it a rest , you’ve popped at me on another thread , I’ve given my reasoning , nothing more to say at this point
February 5, 2026 at 18:32 #1753597I’ve “popped” you (whatever that means) because you’re like a broken record.
The New Lion may well win this year’s Champion Hurdle. But that’s only because Constitution Hill cannot jump any more/is no longer as fast as he used to be and Sir Gino is injured.
The Constitution Hill who won the 2022 Supreme and the 2023 Champion Hurdle would beat The New Lion by a mile. A fit Sir Gino would do likewise.
February 5, 2026 at 18:34 #1753598Glad , leave it , don’t make me say it again
February 5, 2026 at 18:35 #1753599Say what? 🤔
February 5, 2026 at 18:38 #1753601Lol. Report a post because you can’t provide an answer. 😂
February 5, 2026 at 18:38 #1753602Double post – resurrected, given that HDLG has reported another post because he cannot argue his position rationally or logically.
February 5, 2026 at 19:40 #1753609The most important ability is availability
February 5, 2026 at 20:15 #1753613Quixall Crossett ran 103 times and didn’t win once.
Your point?
February 6, 2026 at 00:54 #1753634My idea of the winner would be Golden Ace, and wish I had got on
Ballyburn I’ve been following from the start, and it’s been fun, but less fun watching him unravel
Can’t see him coming here, but NRNB helps
Ballyburn 20’s NRNB
February 7, 2026 at 20:34 #1753875Tutti Quanti 25/1 NRNB
February 7, 2026 at 20:59 #1753876I think that’s a fair price. Nicholls said, if it remains wet over the next couple of weeks they might consider supplementing him. Though, I have no clue what the deadline is.
February 7, 2026 at 22:13 #1753885Would it be realistic to supplement Lulamba for the CH 2026?
February 7, 2026 at 22:23 #1753886No.
