He ran like a non stayer to me. Maybe the Ryanair should be his target. It is difficult to envisage him winning a Gold Cup if Gaelic Warrior stays sound.

He’s young enough and inexperienced over fences. He could win a few early races next season or the KG again and his price cut a lot more than half once the Redknapp chat kicks in etc.

The one I’d be most worried about from a Gaelic Warrior viewpoint would be Fact to File. Hes a beast and capable of such a race as the Warrior did yesterday. Not sure if he’ll ever get the chance to run it in now

I think Mullins will want to keep them separate, Nathan. He knows they are the two best chasers in training and have two races at their mercy. Why would he want to condemn one of them to defeat?

I suppose McManus could pull rank but he could have supplemented the horse for this year’s race as well.
