Value is disappearing on Ballyburn NRNB, but a fair argument could stil be made for him at 16/1. On ratings 20f is his best trip, but he ran within 4lbs of his best over 16f while still a novice when winning a G1 At Leopardstown. Chasing was a curse, though he ran Sir Gino to 7 lengths at Kempton trying to give him 6lbs (16f). Won the Baring Bigham by 13 lengths so has no problems with the festival despite his poor show last year over fences.

Was fav for Stayers for a while, but they seem to have accepted he won’t settle over that trip. Champion Hurdle should be ideally run for him.

He just won’t be fast enough though , Willie despite his skills does get get the odd horse wrong but they haven’t even got a run into him before this , out of Willies horses I’d say the Triumph winner is his best chance

If the weather forecast of very little rain holds out Lossiemouth may well go for the Mares Hurdle. I couild see The New Lion going off at 6/4

Skelton has admitted he going to sleep dreaming of how he rides the Lion in this , I think it’s fair to say they reckon this is the biggest race of the week …

Yes he was supplemented, making 9 for this race. Lossiemouth will be decided at Weekend whether it’s champion or mares hurdle.

Surprised Paul Nicholls has supplemented Tutti Quanti for this considering the ground isn’t likely to be heavy going.

The ground is soft, although will likely dry out over coming days. However, we’ve had so much rain this Winter the water table is high so any rain will quickly stay at or near the surface. I think the clerk of the course said as much the other day.
Forecast keeps changing for Cheltenham, and now Monday is showing as light to moderate rainfall, on and off all day.

Thanks for the info Wilts I’m glad he is running as with Alexei to add some competition into it.

Am I the only one with a brain that automatically changes Tutti Quanti to Suzie Quatro? No matter how much I try to tell it not to it just happens….

No Ballyburn in the race. Presumably he is going to the Stayers or saved for the Aintree Hurdle?

When was the last time Nicky Henderson didn’t have a runner in this? Brave Inca’s year (2006)? Or more recently?

Stayers apparently for Ballyburn. Be interesting to see what they’ll use to try to settle him early … weed? Diazepam? A hood with a built in speaker playing a lullaby list from Spotify?

Why is Workahead entered in Champion Hurdle? Maybe he is back to the form he showed in beating William Munny in December 24 by 7 lengths who subsequently ran ran Kopek Des Bordes close

Currently available at 66/1 NRNB E.W 3 places, gotta be worth a small each way bet?

WORKAHEAD DEC 24 BEAT WILLIAM MUNNY 7 LENGTHS: Made all, went clear on turn after 2 out, ridden run-in, impressive (op 12/1)

KOPEK DES BORDES MARCH 25 BEAT WILLIAM MUNNY 1.75 LENGTHS Travelled strongly, prominent, went second just after 5th, not fluent 3 out, joined leader going easily 2 out, led on turn before last, pushed along and 2 lengths ahead when mistake last, soon ridden, kept on
