Would it be realistic to supplement Lulamba for the CH 2026?

I think it’d be more realistic to supplement Old Park Star instead. He’d wipe the lot out.

Both of those may well be true, Ruby, but if he was going to be supplemented for the Champion Hurdle Lulamba would not have run over fences yesterday.

I’m 99% sure Marlborough is my Festival lay however if he doesn’t turn up it’ll be Lalumba , obv a very talented horse but the form has plenty holes in it

…but if he was going to be supplemented for the Champion Hurdle Lulamba would not have run over fences yesterday.

I think that’s what he was trying to find out yesterday and he might not have been impressed by Lulamba’s jumping in the early part of the race. He knows the engine is there, but jumping eight hurdles should suit him better than jumping 12 fences.

They HAVE to run losseimouth here, shed walk up in the mares but its likely she’d do the same here, her worst performances are at leopardstown, BDA’s worst are all at cheltenham and loves leopardstown, why did both the trainers not point this out last weekend…. Regardless if they see her as a proper CH mare or not is irrelevant.

As someone said above, she’d plaster GA in a match, TNL is a rat and if your going anywhere near that you need your head checked lol, this must be about the worst looking CH i can remember now.

If they dont run her here you have to back golden ace…. Which is absolute madness….

Lossiemouth they said today only 50/50 to run in this, I can see them taking the mare option again

Tutti Quanti for me at 20-1 with the non runner no bet applied. I think that he has a fighting chance

Still think there’s a chance Lossiemouth ends up here. Last year it was the Mares’ because Townend was on State Man for the Champion, this year I’d be surprised if he fancied Poniros. There’s also been a hint that Jade De Grugy will be switched to the Mares’ Hurdle, which makes sense if Spindleberry / Dinoblue are more fancied for the Chase.

i don’t think it was a case of Townend being on State Man as the reason Lossiemouth was in the Mares, more a case Willie et al expected the Hill to win again, so they went for the race they could win; they may well opt to do the same again.

Nicholls seems quite bullish there’s More to come from his horse , he has 9lbs to find with the new lion and we don’t know what happens when he comes off the bridle , might be the e.w play in a average champion

    Anzadam 20-1 ew

Mullins said he has a couple more things to try- I think they will be hood off, earplugs in, possibly cheekpieces on. The horse is quirky/ an absolute rogue- take your pick. Watch the what happens after the finishing line in all 3 starts this season, including at Christmas when he carted his jockey in the race and by rights should have burned himself to a crisp. He runs on past the winner and is the last to pull up every time. Not the behaviour of a horse who has been beaten to a standstill by better horses. If he can be persuaded to put it all in at the right time, he has a good chance of placing at least.

I’d say last year’s Triumph horse is a better Mullins place punt

Given the various uncertainties over those at the top of the market, I feel Sporting Ace is reasonable value to follow up at 8/1 on the exchange

I think Greenasgrass could be onto something with the wacko Anzadam. Surely with updated software, all the nuts ‘n’ bolts, hissing pistons, sparking sensors, swings ‘n’ pendulums, jerky gears and temperamental hydraulics, perhaps everything will fall into place cometh the day. Rise of the machine!

I tickled him e.w ages ago but I just don’t think he’s good enough , I just go back to the fighting fifth and despite the race falling apart he still couldn’t win
