Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
February 1, 2026 at 17:02 #1753109Elliott has said Champion Hurdle and why wouldn’t you.
The more I know the less I understand.
February 1, 2026 at 17:24 #1753112Lossiemouth wouldn’t beat Golden Ace in a match bet round Cheltenham. The latter has much better hurdling technique and is proven at the Festival.

If the handicapper drops him a couple of lbs, the County wouldn’t be out of the question. Daddy Long Legs was only beaten 6L in it last year off 152. Anzadam is currently 157.
February 1, 2026 at 20:12 #1753142Golden Ace would have been my selection now

February 2, 2026 at 12:28 #1753208What would Megan say, RTB?

The more I know the less I understand.
February 2, 2026 at 16:37 #1753324There’s more chance of a Riley/Nicholls/RTB manage a trois than the Hill winning a Champion Hurdle
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

February 3, 2026 at 05:51 #1753401Townend said re Lossiemouth: “I was never comfortable on her. It surprised me that I actually got in with a chance at any stage. Everything was hard work today.”
Ricci: “She’s fine and I’ve just put it down as one of those days. We’re willing to just put a line through it and move on. She loves Cheltenham and she’s fine this morning [Monday], which is the main thing.”
On the big decision that needs to be made, Ricci said: “We’ll see how she comes out of the race and the next couple of weeks will tell a tale. I don’t mind running in either race, to be honest. She loves Cheltenham and I would say her best trip is probably two and a half, but it’s a wide-open Champion Hurdle, so we’ve got some decisions to make.”
February 3, 2026 at 07:14 #1753404Ricci’s comments only serve to reinforce the view that Lossiemouth goes to the Mares. The Mullins camp do not regard her as a Champion Hurdle horse.
No disrespect to Wodhooh but I believe Lossiemouth will hack up. One to put in a multiple on the day. Or just lump on her to pay for the meeting.
