Regarding Arkle and CC times you also need to remember PTKO was asked for everything to win , Shiskin wasn’t , Shiskin has had 1 horse give him a race in his career ,that was over hurdles , at the moment I can’t see a horse capable of stopping him winning this

The way he races hes surely quite hard on himself and very possible he was over the top having his 4th run of the season

Yep Kev, interesting, i notice he doesn’t extend his example beyond Presenting Percy.
Also, Monkfish + Envoi are both 7yo novice chasers…so that’s them f’d as well.
Yes Robbo i know you just said to beware, but it’s quite amusing that all 3 of the best novice chasers are 7. Chantry House and Energumene as well.
