BlueSky @pghenn.bsky.social
So don't run, just like the others always do
March 17, 2021 at 15:16 #1530333Brilliant race, the meeting needed that. Does anyone know why Rachael Blackmore doesn’t get the ride on this mare?

March 17, 2021 at 15:16 #1530334Not good for Townend. Beaten on a hotpot and he might find himself in a lot of trouble with the stewards. How did Sceau Royal stay on his feet?
At least I got my lay of the meeting right.
March 17, 2021 at 15:18 #1530336Course form is everything ham….I gave every reason why she could turn it round..
She’d had a hard race going in last time and course and ground didn’t suit…she never got into any kind of rhythm…
Usual jockey back on…jumped better and we know she loves a battle and comes up that hill…
That is as good as Chacun is….at Cheltenham!
March 17, 2021 at 15:18 #1530337Didn’t look to be Townend who caused Jacob the issues on the replay CAS.

March 17, 2021 at 15:22 #1530339WD FLD, Zamorston and James, Cheltenham is her domain! Nube Negra didn’t get the easiest run up the hill but I don’t think he would have beaten her. Little Sceau Royal did well to stay up and keep himself and Daryl Jacob safe, that could have been horrible.
March 17, 2021 at 15:23 #1530340Well done Fivelongdays, and other winners, he rode a great race.
I must admit to being pig sick as I really fancied Sceau Royal
who was travelling so well when Gavin Sheehan on Rouge Vif, who
had no chance, closed the door on Sceau Royal and nearly took him
out. I hope the Stewards have a look at that.March 17, 2021 at 15:28 #1530342Chacun was the best horse over 1 mile 7 and a half.
March 17, 2021 at 15:31 #1530344Course form definitely is not everything boz, lets not kid ourselves with that, she won, congrats. Shes a cracking mare, but chacun below his best, by about a stone minimum, maybe it was the track, maybe he was just below his best also, but cheltenham does not cause that alone,
My oh my sceau royal would have won that easily without rouge vifs antics,

Wouldn’t go that far.

Because Coleman gets such a good tune out of her
March 17, 2021 at 15:45 #1530354Fair enough just wondered as she is stable jockey, and perfectly capable to say the least.

March 17, 2021 at 16:02 #1530370I would tatling, you cant not think that interference cost less than 3 to 4 lengths can you?
March 17, 2021 at 16:11 #1530374Sceau Royal finishing an close/unlucky 5th is a nice boost for Champ
March 17, 2021 at 16:16 #1530377Who knows Ham? Just think stating he would have “won easily” without that incident quite a stretch. if you disagree fair enough.

March 17, 2021 at 17:36 #1530410Shishkin will demolish this lot next year.
Very gutsy performance by the winner but Sceau Royal would surely have won with a clear run.
March 17, 2021 at 17:45 #1530414I agree great race to watch but Shiskin would have won that , he,s no price for next year’s race but I can’t see anything presently to beat him
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
