I managed to grab Goldi at 2/1 on 01 Oct.
Just wish I’d done the forecast!!
Let’s hope she comes back next year, with maybe Canford Cliffs, Dick Turpin and, who knows, Frankel the opposition.
November 6, 2010 at 20:56 #326612WOW is all I can say. Poor Gio Ponti 2nd to a girl again-can he catch any breaks?
When a horse is that good, it doesn’t matter how firm the track is or how tight the turns are. Goldi is just amazing.

If a performance like that doesn’t excite every fibre of your being, nothing ever will.
Absolutely stunning.
November 6, 2010 at 21:35 #326624Utterly, utterly glorious.
I’m sure I mentioned it before, but I backed her ante-post at 6/4…and this was my first winner in absolutely AGES.
But enough about me – what more is there to say about this wonderful horse?

So don't run, just like the others always do
November 7, 2010 at 00:28 #326729Ah yes, the forgotten horse amid all the ballyhoo and emotion surrounding Zenyatta.
For me, Goldikova is the real true superstar of the Breeders Cup.

November 7, 2010 at 20:39 #326903That was a superb performance and Goldi deserves the "great" epithet IMHO.
She is nothing to look at, and when she scampers after other horses it’s almost comical – but
very
effective!!!
Hope she could go for a 4th BC Mile – and why not?
