Toronado has been juiced up so as long as he corners sufficient will have the power and pace to see off this opposition. The run from Osaila yesterday would have done the yard some confidence.

November 1, 2014 at 21:05 #494181Toronado probably should win. Not a great European lot over this year. The Classic is quite intriguing i have to say. I have a few bob on Bayern. He has two poor runs which are hard to put down to the extra furlong but other then that, he has looked brilliant.

November 1, 2014 at 21:41 #494187Daredevil from what I’ve seen looks a decent horse who can travel with authority from a decent pace have put him in a double with Toronado.

November 1, 2014 at 21:48 #494189That was a bit ugly from my selection. 4 wide but I suppose his previous form was on the slop.

Yeah, good run from The Great War, at the sharp end and got bumped a lot. Did OK. Lucky I dont put much money on these races. Out and out gambling for me since i dont understand American Dirt at all.

I think ATR must be bringing their website results in via Wells Fargo, it was fourteen minutes after the race time that Texas Red was given as the winner on their results main page.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
November 1, 2014 at 22:00 #494196He was my 2nd choice Texas Red and I didn’t even have a saver on.
Where’s ginge when you need him.

November 1, 2014 at 23:28 #494208I thought I’d tipped a winner there with Flintshire but up pops a former dodgepot who only won 50 grand in Britain (and got beaten in a listed race at Ponty) to land the spoils and bring his career earnings close to 3 million bucks.
I suppose it’s a good advert for whipping their knackers off and keeping them in training.
I thought Telescope was bad value at 7/4 favourite there.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
November 1, 2014 at 23:38 #494210Is Toronado still 3s with ladbrokes. closer to 2 on betfair.

November 1, 2014 at 23:45 #494211Come on Toronado!…
November 1, 2014 at 23:48 #494212Oh crap … thought Hughes would’ve rode a more patient race on him

I backed the winner on arbitrage although i didnt really fancy him. Did think he had a cv to rival mutajeebs though who was a ridiculous price.
I thought Toronado was a certainty and wasnt surprised to see him up there. He never seemed to have a lot of tactical pace and if anything the track would have been on the sharp side.

November 1, 2014 at 23:54 #494214He didn’t handle the bends very well but I still expected him to finish closer.
November 2, 2014 at 00:00 #494215He met the final bend all wrong but think he handle the other bends ok, the fractions were far too quick for him to be up so close with the pace, Hughes thought the beast was Frankel or something.

November 2, 2014 at 00:08 #494217Karakontie, of all the horses to land this race!
I suppose we could have taken the hint, as the trainer rarely sends them overseas and I could only find one other runner for him at Santa Anita previously. After winning the French Guineas he seemed to lose his way and I couldn’t see him bouncing back there tonight.
For me Toronado just isn’t as good as some people think he is and Trade Storm in third throws a huge element of doubt regarding the quality of this renewal, as a 33 times raced horse who admittedly hit the big time at Woodbine but who also got beaten at Haydock in July in an 8 grand conditions race

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
