Going for the Ante Post treble here following Litigant & Heartbreak City  the last 2 years.

Lord Yeats £10 win @ 33’s The Ebor

Put up 9 lb for his last win in a listed race LTO which puts him on 108. Has an entry in the US Leger and also the Irish Leger afterwards in September. 50/50 he goes here but if he does no way he goes off at double figures.

Some bets to look forward to this year.

    Heavens Guest 12.50 E/W @ 33’s Gigaset International

Looks like the handicapper has relented with him, down now to 94 which should see him sneak into the race off bottom weight. Looking for a bit of improvement at Newmarket on Saturday from him. Loves the C&D and a bit of rain would be welcome.

Had a quick look yesterday at the King George V and had a bet on Homesman. Looked at it this morning again and have plumped for another i’ll put up here Bin Battuta £5 E/W @ 22’s 5 Places BOG

Going to forgive his last run, but before that won a decent race at Doncaster with Khalidi back in 3 rd that day. Next time out he was really unlucky in his run against Middle Kingdom, being hampered when he looked to be going for his run. he dropped back a bit but once he found his stride he took off again quite eyecatchingly.

Tried in a Visor for the First time and stepped up in trip which could bring about some improvement.

    – 10 Notebook bet in Big Capital Letters

Waited all week for this horse, had 5 entries for the weekend and looks like this is the one.

Was expecting at least 6’s and would of gone for a max bet at that.

    Bin Battuta £25 win @ 4’s 5.00 Ascot :good:

    Won + 100

Also added Bin Battuta £2.50 E/W @ 66’s Goodwood Cup
    OOSG out now, added £2.50 E/W @ 66’s

    N/R – 10

    Intricately £2.50 E/W @ 50’s BOG Irish Oaks

Having another go on her, reminds me a bit of Qualify as a 3 year old. Does nothing at shorter trips and then goes and wins the Oaks. Worth a small bet to find out.

Just watched the race now Daz, certainly looks a good one. Got a feeling we have not seen the best colt run yet though. ;-)

Cheers Joni, shame about this OOTG not winning one yet though. WD on Ballet Concerto as well.

Having a small bet in France today

    £5 win Taareef @ 4’s 4.10

Al Wukhair probably the best horse but been off for a while. Taareef beat Zelzal last time and the trainer rates him as a G1 horse in the making. Could just edge out the favourite who likes to drop out at the back.

    Won + 20

Won like a G1 horse there, gives a bit of hope for The Sussex Stakes with Zelzal who looks to be slowly shortening in the betting

Time to start on the beast

    Almanzor £15 win @ 7’s Irish Champion
    Added £10 win @ 7’s
Never thought i would of got a decent price for him this year and would miss out on him. Been quoted by the trainer as ” definitely runs in the Irish Champion stakes .” Due to have his first run in August.

Can only possibly see Ulysses & Winter improving enough to get near him if fully fit for this.

    Added another £2.50 E/W @ 16’s on Winter

Cashed out for a £2.50 loss from both bets. Goes for the Matron

Another blast from the past horse that i hope will achieve big things this year and been patiently waiting for him to return. It’s the biggest bet of the year time :yahoo:

Zelzal :rose: £50 to win the Sussex Stakes @ 16’s

The Qattari’s will be all out to win this race, especially this year. Rouget has Brametot entered but he never sounded positive about facing Churchill in the St James.

Unraced at 2 and won a Group 1 last year. Goodwood should suit his style of running ( going round a turn ) In an interview the trainer mentioned he still has a lot of faith in this horse, he has improved physically and mentally.

Churchill is obviously the main danger in this, but he could be vulnerable to one that has that instant turn of foot.

    Runs today in France

Looks like punters are latching on to Zelzal after Taareef’s win over Al Wukhair yeaterday. If Taareef was going for this he would be 5/1 now and i hope Zelzal is superior to him.

Another £15 on Zelzal to win Sussex Stakes @ 12’s

Cannot see more than 8 runners at post time for this.
