    Jigsaw £5 win @ 15/2 8.30 Gowran

Backed her E/W last week at Naas and stepped forward quite a bit on what she has shown to date. She was very well backed that night and hopefully she can keep on progressing now.

Lost -5 WTF. Probably come in at 50’s next time out

    Zubayr £10 win @ 7/2 7.40 Kemp Weds

Think this horse will step up in trip later on this year, and prove himself good enough to be competitive in all the top races like this one.

£5 @ 120.0 to win the Arc as well

    Laid off stake @ 26.0 for a free bet @ 94

Looks like Sir Michael is in charge of my Summer hopes in the big races this year.

    Queen’s Trust £20 win @ 15/2 Nassau Stakes

A very eyecatching run behind 3 very good horses last time out.

    Abingdon £10 win @ 14’s Yorkshire Oaks

Needs to improve about 6 lbs on her next run to get into the mix for this.If Enable turns up here

Ballet Concerto £10 @ 20’s John Smiths Cup

    Won +200 :good:

Another Stoute horse who ran well in the Hunt Cup to finish fourth.

    El Hayem – £10 win @ 14’s Coral Challenge ( Sat )

    Abingdon – £15 win @ 3/1 Lancashire Oaks

Big weekend for me, quite a few of my horses to follow for the year run on the same day

Added another £15 win on El Hayem @ 11’s NRNB

Really glad the rain stayed away for this one.

    Won + 165 B-)

    Also £10 E/W Moonmeister @ 11’s Old Newton Cup

Fancy him for the Ebor but needs to go up a bit in the weights. Was very well backed for The Cork Derby last time out and travelled well to win a bit easier than it appeared.

PP just priced up the Voltigeur.

    £10 win @ 10’s Capri

Guessed right up to now that he would go the Idaho route, may as well stick with it.

Just had a look at The Arc market on the exchanges.

Cannot believe the price of the King George & BC Turf Winner for this. Also he came a deserved second in the race last year behind Found.

Soft ground would be a big negative, but if it came up fast like the last two years then a £5 bet on Highland Reel @ 75.0 to win is worth the risk. :rose:

    Laid off @ 12.5 for a free bet @ 62.5 :good:

A year ago this week i started backing Almanzor to win the Irish Champion and Champion Stakes at big prices. What a horse he is!

He sit’s at a very enticing 11/2 which is a bit of a surprise really, but these Rouget horses have ran badly first time out this year so i’m having an E/W for the moment.

    Winter 10 E/W @ 16’s Irish Champion

AOB indicated earlier this year that he thought she would stay further than a mile. He has her next target as The Nassau Stakes at Goodwood over that distance. It looks like being a very hot race for which she has been put in at 2/1 FAV for that. If she improves the step up in trip the 10 lb allowance she would recieve could get her close to the French horse

Had a good look at the Eclipse market this morning. It seems to be a bit of a mess really.

Jack Hobbs – 1 Mile 2 fast Ground No way
    Churchill – 1 Mile 2 Not yet
Derby Runners – Bit early ??

One i do think that is under the radar still is Ulyssees. Possibly could be one of those big improvers that Stoute seems to churn out from time to time. He certainly looked to of improved LTO winning a G3, looking like a class horse.

With no Minding running in these races hopefully he can fill that void. Due to run in the POW next at Ascot and the logical target would be this if running well.

Got a good feeling about him so Ulyssees £20 to win The Eclipse @ 14’s 😉

Another £5 win on Ulysses for the Eclipse @ 12’s

    Won + 340 :yahoo:

    Yucatan £2.50 to win @ 48.0 St.Leger

Interesting they gave him a break till the second half of the season and his form with Capri & Rekindling is certainly looking better than it did a couple of months back.

    Added another £5 @ 46.0

Laid off both bets @ 26.0 for 2 free bets

Rekindling £2.50 to win @100.0 Melbourne Cup

A good chance he may be aimed at this considering his owners past record in the race

Donjuan Triumphant £4 win @ 56.0 Stewards Cup

Bought privately by Leicester City chairman who has a few horses with Andrew Balding. Fahey said it was really sad to see him leave so maybe not a cast off.

Ran some fine races in defeat last year when second to Quiet Reflection and also a good second to Signs of Blessing in the G1 Prix Maurice De Gheest Stakes. Lost his way a bit after that which has meant his rating has come down quite a bit.

Certainly got a chance if anywhere near back to his best.

    Added £8 win @ 55.0
